I find the news of High Voltage’s award-winning Wii shooter, The Conduit, coming to the Tegra Zone to be concerning. For a few reasons, actually. Porting Wii games to mobile devices isn’t anything new, but it’s a little worrying in the Conduit’s case.

Madfinger Games are some busy little bee these days and back during CES 2013 we had some hands-on time with an early build of Dead Trigger 2 on Project Shield. The game back then looked gorgeous so now it probably looks even better. At Mobile World Congress 2013, Madfinger Games let out some additional details about their upcoming sequel to Dead Trigger.
A new FPS game has popped up on TegraZone’s website called The Conduit HD. Developed by High Voltage Games, this game takes place in Washington D.C. which has been hit by several strange events resulting in heightened local and national tensions. This ends up being an attack by an alien race known as the Drudge and, as you may be guessing, you’re hired to help stop them.
You may remember the Minecraft style FPS game we were talking about early last year called Brick Force. Since the game’s release, it has undergone a lot of updates and has received added content to make it quite an enjoyable game to play on your PC. However, when we were talking about Brick Force, we were mentioning that it would be receiving a companion application for Android devices to use.

Ultimately, with this, smaller developers get vital exposure for their games and you get to have more games to play on your plate. The 10-day developer challenge from Kill Screen called OUYA CREATE has come to a close with 22 games in total being selected as finalists in a variety of categories, all of which have rather interesting names. Some of these games are pretty solid and we’ve even talked about a couple of them recently including Whispering Willows, a horror-themed adventure puzzle game that will also be coming to Android.
As we have seen in the recent past whether it is from all the submissions in OUYA’s CREATE competition or just from news from developers making games, OUYA has a lot of developers interested in the Android-powered console. We now have a really big list of confirmed games heading to OUYA which includes some rather big titles like Square Enix’s Final Fantasy III, Adhesive Games’ Hawken and Double Fine’s The Cave and Reds.
A couple of weeks ago Gameloft finally released a teaser trailer for their upcoming Team Fortress 2 / Battlefield Heroes influenced game called Blitz Brigade. Now Gameloft has released a new gameplay video showcasing the game’s cartoon characters shooting each other in face.
We’ve talked a lot about nVidia’s upcoming handheld gaming system Project Shield already which sports a Tegra 4 chipset and will be running the latest version of Android when it’s released. We’ve also mentioned there is a separate UI which is focused on gaming where you can play games you’ve purchased on Google Play, Tegra-optimized games from Tegra Zone or PC games streamed from your PC to your Project Shield unit.
Craneballs Studios has a sequel on the way for their gun saturated FPS game Overkill. Appropriately named Overkill 2, this sequel will once again come with a ridiculous amount of weapons to play around with and customize in order to properly take out your enemies with. However, if you want to get a head start with Overkill 2, there is a way you can nab yourself a free gun.
