Activision has decided to come out of left field and release a Call of Duty game onto Android called Call of Duty: Strike Team. This particular game is a blend of first-person and third-person squad-based tactical gameplay where you’ll be controlling your squad of soldiers, positioning them in strategic places before switching to a first-person perspective and laying out a few clips of ammo onto your enemies.

At midnight this morning the sequel to Madfinger Games’ Dead Trigger game was released onto the masses of Android gamers who have been waiting for this game to launch for almost a year now. Dead Trigger 2 is now available for those of you who have been waiting patiently since our first hands-on with the game at the beginning of 2013.
EA has plenty of franchises in their catalog of games for a variety of platforms but their main FPS franchise called Battlefield is one that the company has big plans for in the near future. These plans pertain to bringing the franchise to mobile but it isn’t just about bringing a port of the game over. It’s also about having it ‘inter-operate’ with the game on other platforms as well, making it a true cross-platform mobile game. This is a trend we have been seeing lately as this is at least the third game in about a week that we’ve talked about heading our way that will contain cross-platform multiplayer with its PC/console brethren.
Crescent Moon Games and Tasty Poison Games have teamed up and released a new cyber punk themed FPS game called Neon Shadow today for Android gamers to dig into. Before you ask the inevitable question when it comes to FPS games let us answer it for you right now – yes there is controller support.
Usually we end up seeing a Gameloft title appearing on the occasional Android device when a new one hits store shelves. This also is usually a demo version most of the time. However that will be changing with the upcoming GamePad 2 from Archos as Gameloft will have two full free games pre-installed onto the upcomin gaming centric tablet.
Gameloft’s next installment into their Modern Combat franchise which was slated for release near the end of this year has been postponed until sometime in the earlier part of 2014. Modern Combat 5 was announced and shown off during E3 2013 this year in a demo version but apparently development on the game is taking a bit longer than had been expected.
Another week is coming to a close and that means it is once again time to round-up all the Android games on sale right now over on Google Play. This week’s list is actually a little small but every game in it is a good one. Sometimes it’s about quality not quantity right?
Last week Madfinger Games announced that they would be revealing the official release date for their upcoming Dead Trigger 2 title during the Tokyo Game Show this year. Well the show begins tomorrow so they have decided to announce the official release date today which is October 23rd, 2013.
Madfinger Games’ upcoming Dead Trigger 2 will have its official release date announced during the upcoming Tokyo Game Show which starts September 19th, 2013. The company plans to officially announced when this sequel will launch onto Android during the show and they have released a set of new screenshots and additional details to tide everyone over until then.
Having already been out on iOS for a short period, Square Enix will finally be bringing Deus Ex: The Fall to Android next month. According to a blog post over on the official Deus Ex website, the developers announce support for the iPad 2 before going over a bunch of details regarding that. After all the information there is a quick note at the bottom of the post announcing that the Android version is also on its way finally.
