E3 2013 is just around the corner and mobile gaming will be there in full force as usual like it has been the past couple of years. Gameloft’s newest addition to the Modern Combat franchise, which we knew was already on the way thanks to that leak earlier this year, is Modern Combat 5 and while the official sub-name for the game isn’t released yet, it is rumored to be Modern Combat 5: Last War.

Madfinger Games has officially announced the sequel to Dead Trigger, appropriately named Dead Trigger 2, and have gone ahead and released a few screenshots as well as a trailer showing their new game off. We’ve already had the pleasure of getting a hands-on with an early build of the game back during CES 2013 and it was already looking real good back then.
A couple of weeks ago we talked about the movie spin-off zombie survival game World War Z and that it would be arriving on May 30th. Sure enough today is the 30th of the month and World War Z has been released onto Google Play for anyone looking for a little zombie FPS survival action.
A rather interesting game has made the jump from iOS to Android finally called Guncrafter. What you will be doing in this game is designing your own gun before jumping into a multiplayer game and going head-to-head with other players around the world.
Brad Pitt has a movie hitting theaters soon called World War Z and Phosphor Games has been hired to develop and publish an official movie tie-in game for Android and iOS which will also be called World War Z. We already know the kind of games this company develops so we can expect to see plenty of eye candy in this new one, especially because it is also being developed using the Unreal Engine.
Gameloft has also come out to announce that three of their games will be updated with Google Play Games features. One game we already mentioned today is Modern Combat 4 but the company will also be updating two other games as well with Google Play Games integration.
A source port of the Return to Castle Wolfenstein engine called RTCW4A has landed on Google Play and somehow slid under the radar for over a month without being seen. Originally released back in April of this year, RTCW4A brings the Return to Castle Wolfenstein engine to Android so you can play the game on your Android device.
PikPok’s recently released endless running / FPS game Into The Dead has surpasses the 10 million downloads mark on Android and iOS in a rater short period of time. For a game that has been out for barely 5 months, that is a pretty impressive number to break.
The Team Fortress style FPS game that Gameloft has been teasing for a little while now will be finally getting released both iOS and Android tomorrow. Blitz Brigade will feature plenty of multiplayer content for those of you more apt to playing these types of games when you can shoot other players.

The middle of each week seems to be a rather busy time for indie developers and their game releases for Android. While the much bigger game development companies out there tend to release their games on Thursdays and Fridays, mid-week is a good time for the smaller companies and teams to get their goods out onto Google Play.
