Sega released last week their zombie killing game House of the Dead: Overkill – The Lost Reels onto Android and back when we announced that the game had arrived, we mentioned that there was a few surprises for those of you who are fans of retro games. One of those surprises is a ‘Shinobi’ upgrade which is themed after the classic ninja game’s bonus shooting gallery rounds.

Madfinger Games has come out today with some new that should make plenty of people happy. The Green Throttle gaming system, which consists of a controller and an application that basically turns the Android device it is installed on into a console system, has had six new games added to its catalog of supported titles. Sega is jumping onto that trend and have released their newest game onto Android this morning, which has a rather long name, called House of the Dead: Overkill – The Lost Reels. If you remember our coverage of this game when we announced that it would be coming to Android, you probably already know enough to go get the game now.
Gameloft’s Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour has had an update pushed to it today and while it isn’t the biggest update in the world, if you own a Moga Pro game controller, it is an update that will make you happy. That is because the update now adds support for the Pro version of Moga’s game controller.
With Tegra 4 products launching in the near future and the fact we already know about Tegra 5 chipsets (codenamed Logan) already in development, it is interesting to see a demo video of Battlefield 3 running on an early Tegra 5 chipset even though Tegra 4 devices haven’t even hit store shelves for consumers yet.
Back in February of this year we talked about Craneballs Studios upcoming sequel to their ‘kill everything in sight’ FPS game Overkill. While there are goals and achievements to accomplish the game, its real draw was that there was a ridiculous amount of weaponry you could use and the fact there were factions of players, competing for the highest score over other ones.
Another week is coming to a close and therefor it is time for Nvidia to post another video regarding another game playing on their Android-powered handheld gaming device called Project Shield. As you might be already expecting, the game looks pretty damn good playing on Project Shield.
Sega has a lot more in store for Android gamers and at GDC 2013 there was another set of games announced that would be heading to Android in the coming months. These newly announced games are House of the Dead: Overkill – The Lost Reels and Godsrule. So there will be a little zombie love and a little MMORTS love heading our way soon.
