While we may never see an official Pokemon game make it to mobile devices anytime soon, The Pokémon Company International wants everyone to be at least able to watch all the Pokemon episodes they could ever want. Originally released onto Android through Google Play, Pokemon TV is now available for those of you who own a Kindle Fire tablet. Square Enix has already made a pretty big announcement today with regards to the release of Hitman GO for Android which will be heading our way soon. The company has also announced that it will be launching a new paid version of their Thief companion app for Android users later this month.
Nvidia has pushed out a new update for their TegraZone app which brings with it support for all Android devices, not just Tegra-based ones. This means you will be able to track your Tegra-based games collection regardless of what devices you are using as well as stay up-to-date when new games come out.
Today Android gamers get a little bit of a treat, especially if you enjoy playing Dreamcast games. That is because Reicast, a multi-platform Dreamcast emulator that works quite well, has arrived onto Android today. Reicast is actually a fork of Nulldce for those of you familiar with that emulator. This release is being labeled as an Alpha version but once you dive into it, Reicast seems to have more of a beta feel to it.
Razer and their in-game voice chat software Razer Comms has expanded to include support for VoIP calls and messaging to Android phones from PCs and vise versa. This is all doable from within games with no need to alt-tab when playing a PC game.
There is a very interesting application heading to Android in the early part of 2014 called Createrria. Developed by Incuvo, this application will allow those of you who are creative or want to try your hand at creating games for Android to do just that, create and share games for Android. The really interesting part about this is that you’ll be doing this on your Android device.
