PreLaunch.me has been in beta for a little while now, making sure their app and service have as few bugs as possible. Today the company has decided to officially drop the beta tags they have been wearing and fully launch their service as well as their Android app.

One thing about being in the video game industry is that you get to try a lot of alphas, betas (both closed and open), early preview builds, and so on. The same it true for any software industry really. It is always fun to try out something early and now Google is letting folks try out future features for their official Google App with the new Google Beta Program through Google Play.

YouTube Gaming has been updated with the feature we have been waiting for, which is direct mobile game streaming from your Android device to YouTube Gaming. Not only does this make our lives way easier when it comes to streaming gameplay to you, our readers, but it also means anyone can stream as long as they have Android 5.0 or higher.
Crescent Moon Games has quietly released a game onto Google Play called Ad Cube… or is it a game? What we know it isn’t, and that is it isn’t an Ad blocker or Ad removal software. Hell it isn’t even a game really. So what is it? Well it appears to be a test regarding ads with something very good being promised at the end.
At the beginning of September the Sphero BB-8 Star Wars themed app-enabled robot became available and pretty much everyone wanted one, even just to play with it for a minute. Well 3Doodler has now made the Sphero BB-8 Star Wars robot a series instead, with the BB-Luke, BB-Darth, BB-3PO and BB-Leia.
We have been saying a lot recently that the streaming war is going to heat up and today during Twitch’s keynote speech during the first TwitchCon event, the company announced that direct uploads and a true VOD feature will be arriving soon. This takes aim directly at YouTube who recently went after Twitch by launching YouTube Gaming, a streaming platform for game broadcasters that also allows direct uploads and VODs already.
Having been out on iOS for a few weeks now under a beta tag, Mobcrush has finally announced the arrival of the Android beta as well. This puts the company in position to possible snag a good chunk of the mobile game streaming market. That, of course, depends on a few key factors.

Twitch’s first ever convention is drawing closer and closer each day and with that there is a lot of news coming out with what will be taking place during the event. On top of that, the company has released an update for their Twitch app which bring a much requested feature to it: Push Notifications for Broadcasters.
Star Wars fans have a new toy they may want to get their hands on called the Sphero BB-8. This little rolling robot can be controlled by your smartphone and is based off of the BB-8 character (complete with authentic look and personality) in the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens movie which will be hitting theaters in December.
It looks like the live streaming platforms wars may be starting to heat up. Right now there is Twitch, the newly launched YouTube Gaming, MobCrush (currently in beta for iOS, coming to Android soon), and now there is Mirrativ from DeNA (beta on Android, coming soon to iOS). Mirrativ is now considered in open beta although there are certainly times that streaming is allowed right now. When it fully launched though, you will be able to stream whenever you want.
