Mobile gaming is by its very definition playing games while on the go. However, the entire platform has progressed to the point where you can sit at home playng your favorite mobile games for hours, playing them on your Android TV set-top box/console of choice, streaming on Twitch, and even eSports competitions. So with that evolution it should be no surprise that other aspects of the traditional gaming platforms are also making their way into the world of mobile gaming.

3rd Pinnacle Games have released a big new update for their popular dungeon crawler Super Bit Adventure. This update adds loads of new content including new dungeon maps, new characters, and a few new systems in-game including an enhancing system and more.
While the newer Nvidia Shield K1 Tablets already come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow, the original Shield tablet has been waiting patiently to match its brother in OS version. Today marks the first day that Nvidia has begun pushing out an OTA update for the original Shield Tablets to get their Marshmallow goodness as well.
Earlier this month Webzen announced that their mobile MMORPG called MU: Origin would be getting a Western release in the near future and that they were going to start beta testing the game for the West. Well the first closed beta was held last week, ending very early this morning. Within Blacksmith Lab, players will assume the eponymous role of a blacksmith, only the game has a modern and financial twist to it. Players will be watching the “market” to make investments and upgrade their forge, in addition to actually filling the orders put forth by clients, such as gladiators.
Released by Cosmo Duck Games, Frantic Flower is a new entry to the “endless” genre on Android. Players will assume the eponymous role of a flower seeking to frantically grow. Players will have a variety of pitfalls and obstacles to navigate around, as they grow ever upward.
[Update: Game Released] OrangePixel’s highly anticipated Space Grunts game will finally be unleashed onto mobile this week
Our friends over at OrangePixel have announced today over Twitter that their highly anticipated game called Space Grunts will finally be getting released onto mobile. We’ve actually been following the development of Space Grunts since it was originally announce back in the earlier part of 2015. It actually was just released onto Steam a couple of weeks ago and has been doing pretty good already.

Corvus Games will soon release a fascinating action-based endless runner game entitled Arcane Knight. Yes, another endless runner. Though the endless runner genre is overcrowded with games, if it looks fun to play, I can’t help but download them to try them out. I for one never tire of endless runners. There is always space on my devices for one or two really good ones. Especially when they throw in a little twist. Corvus games has done that with Arcane Knight. Mount your steed and get ready for combat in this impressive looking medieval combat game.
Another multiplayer shooter has been updated on Android, although this time it is an FPS title. Fusion War, as the game is called, received a pretty big update with a few new game modes for players to partake in, a new soldier type to deal with, and new missions for players to complete.
Thanks to titles such as SolForge, Order & Chaos: Duels, and Heartstone, collectible card games have emerged as an incredibly popular genre on mobile platforms. That EA wished to capitalize on the popularity of the genre and add to the proliferation of TCGs in the Play Store is no real surprise. However, that EA decided to put forth a TCG in the form of the Base Command mini-game included in the Star Wars Battlefront companion app, is quite the surprise.
