Ubisoft is working the hype train with the release of a trailer that shows off their upcoming companion service (and companion application) for Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag called The Watch. This companion service and application will be available to players who have pre-ordered the Pirate themed edition of the Assassin’s Creed Saga.

While there are a fair number of Amiga emulators on Android already, using them can be a bit of a pain. This is especially true if you’re not technically fluent in running an emulator aside from loading up a game. The Amiga emulators generally provide a bit more of a challenge since most of the ones available do not come with their own file system. This means you have to provide one yourself, so if you aren’t that experienced with an emulator of this nature, you were kind of left out in the dark.
Hitman: Absolution didn’t do as good as it was thought it would when it arrived on store shelves. That’s not to say sales weren’t good, they just were not as good as originally planned. Well in order to keep interest in the game flowing Square Eniz has released a companion application for Android and iOS so you can plan some contract killing while you’re out and about in the real world.
There are plenty of emulators already available for Android gamers to use when looking to play some of your more old school favorites. Pretty much a majority of the consoles and computer systems already have at least one emulator available for people to use. Well you can add another one to the list and that is the VICE Commodore VIC-20 emulator which has just been launched as an Alpha stage build.

A new application was released a few days ago that will offer up paid games for all you Android gamers out there but for free. Think of it as a “Free Game of the Day” type of service although the offers last a few days instead of just one. It seems the company behind the app, OnaDevice, has made some deals with some pretty big publishers as well because these are not just no-name titles they are offering up for free.
Yesterday, as probably most of you are aware of, Sony held their Playstation event where the company announced their next console, the Playstation 4. The press conference, which seemed to last forever, also featured a lot of information on mobile aspects that the console will bring with its release. Paramount Digital Entertainment have released a new companion app for their upcoming Star Trek movie. Simply called the Star Trek App, this application will let you join Starfleet as one of the characters from the Star Trek universe and begin to work on rising them up in the ranks of Starfleet through various activities. You’ll also be treated to exclusive content regarding the upcoming movie that you can unlock and even win prizes.
We’ve talked numerous times in the past how Epic and their games division have not released, nor ever had plans to release, anything on Google Play. It’s been a topic of conversation here on the site plenty of times and how we have always felt that it is stupid that they don’t release anything for Android, only iOS. So imagine our surprise when we got a tip saying that Epic Citadel was now available on Google Play.
Mindark, the developers of an MMORPG/FPS game called Entropia Universe, has finally released an official app for their game. Officially called Virtual Tycoon, this new application will allow you to do a few things, from checking the auction house to crafting new items, all while on your Android device.
