Square Enix developing Final Fantasy XIV: Realm Reborn companion app for Android

Square Enix has been beta testing their newest MMORPG in the Final Fantasy franchise for awhile now and with the game’s actual release people have been having their own issues with trying to get onto the servers to play. It’s a good problem for a company to have when that many people are trying to log into their game. Sucks for the players though until more server power is added.

This time we are actually talking about a non-gaming application getting an add-on made for it that deals with gaming. Official Google Play Games application finally available for download

While Google’s press event had the new Nexus 7 tablets as the headliner for the event, that wasn’t the only news to come out of the press breakfast. Aside from the official announcement of Android 4.3, Google also officially announced that a Google Play Games application would be launching today. This is something that a lot of people were hoping would actually see the light of day.
