Ouya has announced, through their Twitter account with a picture, that the company has made a new white version of their Android-powered game console. This new edition is just as it sounds, all white, for those of you who enjoy having everything white colored.
Killing Floor: Calamity launches exclusively onto Ouya. Buy an Ouya for $40 off its regular price.
Toadman Interactive have released a new game exclusively onto Ouya called Killing Floor: Calamity. If this game sounds familiar that is because this is a re-imaged version of the original arcade shooter version of Killing Floor. However this is not an FPS game like the original one and is instead a top-down arcade shooter with plenty of blood to go around.
A rather enjoyable top-down scrolling arcade game called Knightmare Tower will be making the jump from Ouya to all Android devices in a couple of days. This neat little game has you ‘climbing’ a tower full of enemies and hazards that you’ll either need to kill or avoid in order to live as long as you can.
Ouya has decided to release today a limited edition version of their Android-powered console for the holiday season. This new version of their console isn’t the upcoming Ouya 2 or anything like that. Instead it is a white version of the original but it isn’t just merely an aesthetic change that the console has received in this new holiday edition.
The recently released multiplayer FPS game Neon Shadow from Crescent Moon Games and Tasty Poison Games has made the jump from standard Android devices over to the Android-powered game console Ouya today. This FPS game takes inspiration from some of the more old school games in this genre like Doom but wraps it all up in a cyberpunk theme instead.
Alpha Dog Games have released a new gameplay trailer for their Unreal Engine built Action-RPG title Wraithborne. This game was originally released onto Ouya but recently made the jump to all Android devices a couple of weeks ago. This is a pretty good hack n’ slash game with some solid visuals to round everything out.
Ouya said, back before the console launched, that their Android-powered console would see new versions of it being released with updated hardware on a regular basis. The company did warn everyone that this would basically mean that a new console would be released every year or pretty much every year as long as their is a substantial upgrade in hardware to do.
