Defcon Studios unleashes their mech filled platformer Iron Jack 2

Developers at Defcon Studio (which used to be estudio256 back in the day) teased us a few months ago with their game Iron Jack, an awesome robot themed platformer which eventually never arrived onto Google Play. Now, reinvigorated and coming back since their latest release (a free space shooter called Diagnosis Assault), they have released a sequel called Iron Jack 2: a free platformer that is looking to stand out with its superb graphics and really takes free to play as a complete option and not just another pocket farming strategy.

To-Fu 2 arrives onto Google Play, bringing more To-Fu flinging action with it

It was only back in June of this year when Devolver Digital released To-Fu: The Trials of Chi onto Google Play. The rather unique puzzle platformer has since done quite well for itself, most likely to the unique style of gameplay that it comes with. Well Devolver Digital has now released a second part in the series, appropriately named To-Fu 2, bringing with it more elastic To-Fu flinging goodness with it.

Sonic CD and Sonic 4: Episode II discounted for Sega’s new sale, enter to win an Xperia Play

Sega has started a back to school sale and while iOS users see more of a benefit than Android gamers do, since more games are discounted on iOS, you can still nab a couple of games for at fairly decent discounted price. Both Sonic CD and Sonic 4: Episode II are now on sale for a limited time. There is also a twist to this sale that might interest some of you out there.

The award winning Spirits from Spaces of Play now available on Google Play

Today saw the third Humble Bundle for Android launch and one game that is included in the package is the award winning Spirits by Spaces of Play. At the time we wrote about the Humble Bundle launching, we checked to see what games were on Google Play that haven’t been there until now. Bit.Trip Beat was one, Uplink will stay Humble Bundle exclusive for a bit we think, but Spirits wasn’t there, until now.
