Previously released exclusively for Nvidia’s Shield TV platform, Never Alone is a platformer that is being released generally on Google Play late next month. In Never Alone, players will assume the role of Nuna, a small girl who is striving to restore balance within the “eternal blizzard”. Nuna is accompanied by a fox that, in an interesting twist, players can also control.

Today, Android gamers have the privilege of playing one of the more interesting platformers to be released recently. If you are familiar with the game developers Bad Seed, then you know they make challenging, fun and graphically appealing games. If you aren’t familiar with them, maybe you remember playing a game called Sheep Up. Okay, now that rings a bell. Game publisher Energetic has collaborated with Bad Seed, to bring their latest puzzle/platformer to Android, called The Beggar’s Ride.
MildMania is based in Ankara, Turkey. Their Chief Executive Ninja, Burkay Ozdemir, informed us that their new colorful puzzle/platforming game Cattch, will be coming to Android soon. Cattch released on iOS this week, and the Android version should be entering the beta phase this week. Based on what we have seen, this is a game we want to play as soon as possible.
HelloThereAB not too long ago released a really good martial arts game in Taekwondo Game. The game was polished, had great graphics and was generally quite fun to play. HelloThereAB and At Night Game Studio have now made available, a mature +17 game entitled She Wants Me Dead. It is a platforming game that is brutally tough, has impressive graphics and a soundtrack that delivers, based on the title track being from music artist Cazzette. It is free to download and does include optional in-app purchases. Yes, you want to play this game now.
Everybody at Team DG knows that I am a fan of runners and platforming games. One of the best games to be released over the last couple of years was Vector. It had excellent graphics, perfect controls and plenty of levels to beat. When I interviewed Nekki last year, they were hard at work on Vector 2. If you didn’t know it already, Vector 2 is live in the Google Play Store. Don’t worry, Nekki hasn’t forgotten about you Shadow Fight fans. Hopefully Shadow Fight 3 will be released this year too. In the meantime, why not play one of the best parkour games available for Android.
Indie development studio called Mode Games, in conjunction with Massive Monster, have released their newest title onto mobile today called Super Rocket Pets. This particular game is an arcade platformer where players will choose which pet they want to control, coming equipped with a rocket pack to start, before setting off to save the galaxy.

Originally developed as part of a game jam competition project that since evolved into a full blown game funded by a successful Kickstarter Campaign, Ultimate Chicken Horse from Clever Endeavor Games is an addictive multiplayer platforming experience.
An indie developer going by the name of shabadage, at least going by that name here in the DroidGamers community, has released a preview of their upcoming game called Demon Castle. If you’ve been around playing games since the early console days, you’ll immediately see influence from another franchise showing up in this game, that being the Castlevania series.
Rescue your fellow clones from the PTi facility in Stealth Inc 2, now available for Nvidia Shield devices
Released by Nvidia Shield Partners, Stealth Inc 2 is a new platformer available on Android. In this game, players are assuming the role of a clone that is desperately seeking his escape from the lab/factory, known as the PTi facility. Players will need to avoid an innumerable number of deadly traps as they attempt to clear the facilities more than sixty different levels.
If you’re a fan of old school style of platformers, such as Super Mario Bros and other similar games, then there’s a bit of good news for you today. One of the games we checked out at GDC this year was a game called Super Phantom Cat, which takes a lot of inspiration from some of the classic platformers to have ever been released, but has a bit of a unique visual look to it.
