If you were a gamer back in 2007, you’ll remember what a revelation Portal was when it first came to consoles and PCs. The puzzle platformer stretched minds the world over, while also hiding a cheekily clever story beneath its surface. All these years later, The Talos Principle is a first-person puzzler that shares many qualities with that modern classic, though fame isn’t one of them (yet).

Crescent Moon Games and Chocoarts released their rather enjoyable 3D puzzle-platformer Almightree: The Last Dreamer onto Android back in February 2015. If you are not familiar with this game, essentially the world is shattering and in order to stop this, you will have to take our hero on a journey to get to the Almightree, awaken it, and save the world.
Fans of horror games have a new one to look forward to called House of Grudge. Developed by Gameday Inc, House of Grudge is a horror adventure game that features the ever popular ‘room escape’ style of gameplay. If you’re not familiar with what this is, it is pretty much just like it sounds. Every time you escape a room, you will be in another room where in order to leave that room, you will need to solve whatever the puzzle happens to be in that particular room.
Humble Bundle has launched a new themed bundle today and this time it features all Bulkypix games. However, unlike previous themed Humble Mobile Bundles that feature the three tier system lately, this one is the normal two tier system, which means you pay what you want for some games, or above the average amount for all of them.
Having been out for awhile now for Android devices, Machinarium is a delightful little adventure that’ll have you grinning from ear to ear when you’re not scratching your head in complete bafflement. It’s developed by Amanita Design, a small indie studio from the Czech Republic that made a name for itself years ago with a lovely browser-based game called Samorost, mixing animation and macro plant photography to create a surreal space adventure with a distinct organic feel.
Nvidia is pushing out a new update for their Shield Android TV console which brings with it a lot of requested enhancements, fixes, and upgrades to various aspects of their OS and software. Depending on what you use your Shield console for, this update is a much welcomed improvement overall.
Rovio, the makers of the Angry Birds frachise, has now globally released another entry in that line: Angry Birds Fight! Rovio’s newest release is a twist on the Match-Three concept. Angry Birds Fight has a heavy emphasis on PvP, where players will be responsible to equip their bird ahead of time with armor and weapons to improve stats such as health, attack, and add unique skills.
Holy Water Games in collaboration with Chillingo, has released a sequel to the popular game, Feed Me Oil, that was released back in June 2011. Feed Me Oil arrived in the Google Play Store a year later in 2012. Now, we have the latest and greatest from Holy Water Games, and it is Feed Me Oil 2. Their slogan for this game is, “Oil and water mix for the first time…”
Tomorrow Corporation, the makers of World of Goo and Little Inferno, have announced a new game that they’ll be releasing in the future, called Human Resource Machine. While there isn’t much to go on at this point, players will be assuming the role of some type of corporate middle-management.
Earlier today we posted about 505 Games unveiling that they would be bringing their critically acclaimed game Brothers – A Tale of Two Son to mobile devices later this year. Well the company also has other mobile goodness happening at E3 2015 besides Brothers – A Tale of Two Son being there and coming to Android.
