Value is a tricky thing when it comes to video games. For movies, books, music, and other forms of media, the price is fairly simple to understand. While the value of those things have undoubtedly changed over the years, what they provide is fairly consistent. A movie is an hour and a half to three hours. A Song is three to six minutes. A book is as long as it is thick. But video games, are different, video games aren’t so easy to define.

[Updated] ustwo’s architectural puzzler Monument Valley will be released onto Android at some point
ustwo already has a pretty strong following on the mobile gaming scene thanks to their past releases and their latest one is doing pretty damn good already on iOS. However if you’re on Android and want to check this game out, you’ve been out of luck. That is changing though as ustwo is working on an Android version of Monument Valley.
Looking for a new puzzle game, well MacGyver: Deadly Descent, from FairPlay Media might be one to try. Developed with input form Lee David Zlotoff, the creator of MacGyver, Deadly Decent returns MacGyver to his roots as a young problem solver in a modern environment. That’s right the ultimate jury rigger (or jerry rigger) from the 80’s is back for a new adventure in new times.
Yesterday Nvidia held their yearly press conference where they generally announce their new graphics cards for PC gaming and other goodies which does include some mobile related stuff as well. This year, aside from the ridiculous $3000 video card that was announced, Nvidia also let out that Valve’s game Portal will be coming to their portable gaming system the Shield.
After taking a bit of a break with doing the weekly Android game sales round-ups, we are back with them once more! With that said, right now we have a decent amount of Android games on sale and what is even better is that a lot of these games are good. Final Fantasy IV, Flashout 3D, and Principia are some of the games on sale right now.
The original arcade hero is back in Pac-Man Monsters the new puzzle RPG from Gree and Namco Banai
Alright Pac fans the Pac-Man is back for a new adventure on Android and iOS. This time he is staring in a new puzzle game with Pokemon style collecting and Puzzle Quest type combat with some great stylized art. You lead a party of Pac People and Monsters (including Ghosts) to help restore Pac Land to its rightful order after a new evil force invades.
Indie developer Michael Olp has been working on his new game for Android called Blockadillo and it appears that it is getting closer to release onto Google Play. Blockadillo is an interesting looking physics-based puzzle games where players must figure out how to solve each stage, clearing the colored block from it before moving on to the next stage.
Rovio profits drop by almost half but this isn’t the beginning of the end for Angry Bird publisher
On Monday Rovio published its most recent revenue statement for all of the company’s profits. Up until now the company has reported huge profits thanks to their Angry Bird franchise and all the games under that umbrella (including Bad Pigges and other spin-offs) as well as games published under the company’s third party publishing brand Rovio Stars. However this new revenue report shows the company’s profits slashed by almost half.
Noodlecake Games newest release is a pretty interesting puzzle game called Polymer. Like all of the games Noodlecake releases, Polymer is already on iOS and this has been ported over to Android so we can all enjoy this game as well. The gameplay is based off of the mechanics found in the actual Rubik’s Cube.
Back in February 2014 we talked about Mojo Bones who is the company behind the mystery adventure game called The Curse. Since the company’s announcement of that game’s sequel, fans of The Curse have been waiting patiently for The Voyage to arrive onto Google Play and now the wait is over.
