Square Enix and DeNA’s Final Fantasy child has been updated with brand new content today. The game has also breached the 1 million downloads mark and to celebrate that, players who log into the game over the next five days will receive in-game currency for free, at a rate of 1 Mythril per day, for a total of 5 Mythril.

There is a new Puzzle-RPG available on Google Play from developer Travasa which is called Dungeon Crawler. As one would guess from the name, Dungeon Crawler is a Puzzle-RPG that has players crawling through dungeons, battling monsters, and eventually saving a princess. Basically you’re living the dream of a hero, except if you die, then it’s not so much of a good life.
A week ago today Sega took the first steps in removing games from both Android and iOS marketplaces that don’t meet their new standards for mobile games. While Android only saw two games disappear, those being After Burner Climax and Jet Set Radio, iOS users saw a lot more games go poof. Well a week later more games have been removed from both platforms for the same reason.
Last week SEGA announced it would be killing off games on Android and iOS that ‘no longer meets their standards’ and now SEGA had gone ahead and removed the games they feel fit into that category. Out of both platforms, iOS and Android, iOS was hit a lot harder, mainly because they had more SEGA titles. However, Android lost a few as well.
Bandai Namco celebrates the 20th anniversary of Tekken with a new Galaga/Tekken mash-up mobile game
We have seen some pretty odd mash-ups and cross-overs when it comes to mobile games, usually pertaining to games like Puzzle & Dragons or similar Puzzle-RPG titles. However recently we did get a Star Wars / Contra mash-up which brought us the original Contra game but featuring Star Wars enemies and the main character you play as was Chewbacca. Today Bandai Namco has brought us another unique mash-up, this time featuring Galaga and Tekken.
Floorless Fortress is a new arcade puzzler that features a little tiny mouse-like character that is trying to escape a rather large fortress, seeing at there are over 70 stages he needs to get through safely if he plans to actually get out of there.
This weekend is shaping up to be a pretty good one when it comes to Android games going on sale. While we still have to get our weekly Android game sale round-up finished, there are some developers who have put most, if not all, of their games on sale which we need to inform everyone about. Paradox Interactive releases a new trailer for Knights of Pen & Paper 2, complete with 60FPS gameplay
Paradox Interactive has released a new trailer for their upcoming tabletop gaming inspired title Knights of Pen & Paper 2. This is the sequel to their original Knights of Pen & Paper game which we went hands-on with during GDC 2015 and found that it was quite a lot of fun. This sequel will also have plenty of improvement over the original include a much needed inventory system.
