Spacetime Studios’ upcoming MMORPG, Arcane Legends, gets its first cinematic trailer

Over the past few months we have been reporting on Spacetime Studios upcoming MMORPG for Android, iOS and Chrome called Arcane Legends. This new title is a combination of all the features and game mechanics that worked well and were popular in their previous games such as the charge attacks and group combo attacks. The game goes back to a more fantasy theme with visuals closer to what you would find in Star Legends or Pocket Legends, the more cartoon like graphics. There will also be new features that will arrive in Arcane Legends when it launches such as the battle pets system.

The Bard’s Tale Review: An oldie but a pretty decent game

I missed The Bard’s Tale when it came out in 2004, but did play it a bit through the OnLive service on my PC. I’ve missed a lot of single-player titles, mainly because my normal favorite subject (before getting my first Android, of course) is massively multiplayer titles. I’ve noticed how the number of older titles being brought back to life thanks to mobile devices and the Play market keeps rising. It’s very possible that many of these titles will be seen by a new generation and possibly have more impact than they did originally, thanks in large part to their new, portable nature. I know that I was more impressed with The Bard’s Tale this time around because I was able to hold it in my hand. What would have normally been older looking graphics now look sharp and crisp thanks to the smaller, higher-resolution screen.

Monday Lunchtime Humor: Final Fantasy Dimensions keeps the Final Fantasy tradition of dirty magazines alive

While we all wait for Square Enix to slowly, ever so slowly, bring Final Fantasy Dimensions to Android, since it’s already out on iOS, there is  tradition that most Final Fantasy fans have long held close to their hearts. That is the tradition of finding porn magazines in-game as hidden Easter Eggs. It looks as though Final Fantasy Dimensions keeps this tradition live as well.

The Indie Gala #9 is now live, features Call of Cthulhu and Battlegroup

The new Indie Gala bundle has gone live and features two pretty great games for Android called Call of Cthulhu: The Wasted Land and Battlegroup. For those of you unfamiliar with what the Indie Gala is, it is basically a lot like the Humble Bundle. You can pay what you want for a select amount of games and the money you spend can be split up in different ways. You can have it all go to a charity, Indie Gala themselves or the developers of the games. You can also divide it up among all three if you want to.
