With the upcoming (eventual) release of Final Fantasy IV for Android, I decided it’d be a good time to write up a review for Final Fantasy III. Final Fantasy III has been one of my all-time favorites in the series since the original NES release was translated in the emulation community. It set the ground for the class change system from Final Fantasy V, Final Fantasy Tactics, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, and every other game in the series since that gave you the ability to change your character’s class.

It seems like OUYA news always comes in clumps lately and today is no different as we have a few bits of information regarding the Android powered console to go over. First, for those of you who haven’t pre-ordered a unit yet, you can now do so off of Amazon.com and GameStop.com instead of just through the OUYA website.
Crescent Moon Games released their popular full-sized 3D Action-RPG Aralon: Sword and Shadow onto Android but there was a bit of a catch to the release. The game was launched onto the Amazon AppStore and only there. While this isn’t a huge issue, it did stop anyone without access to the Amazon AppStore from being able to purchase this game.
American McGee’s upcoming Action-RPG Akaneiro: Demon Hunters has been successfully funded on Kickstater with reaching their goal of $200,000. This game, already in closed beta for PC, is also slated for release on Android and iOS but in order to get the game finished as completely as the developer’s wanted it to be, they actually had to turn to Kickstarter for additional funding.
Kemco’s recent sale may be over but the company has more titles on the way for your to drop your money on and their newest offering is a retro-style RPG called Covenant of Solitude. This particular title though features some new mechanics not seen before in any of their previous titles.
Shadowrun Returns was originally scheduled for a January 2013 release, but has been pushed back to May/June 2013 in order to add new features. While this is a bit disappointing to hear, especially for those who have been anticipating this release (the Kickstarter project that spurred this game’s launch met its’ $400,000 goal within 28 hours, to give you an idea of how much people wanted this game.
There are plenty of us out there who are fans of the games Kairosoft puts out onto Google Play, having sunk many hours into creating the best game development studio or trying to make our village the home of many adventurers. With that said, here are some of the games we hope to see arrive in English in the near future.
Fan of the comic strip series by Penny Arcade and subsequently their retro-style RPGs have a little bit of bad news today. It seemed like a lot of people had been waiting for Penny Arcade to release their games onto Android and when On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness 3 finally arrived on Google Play, a lot of people seemed happy about it.
Zenonia 5 got an update the other day that finally added raid mode. You know… that button on the status screen that said COMING SOON! when you press it? Well, its here now. Unfortunately, it’s also expensive. Each and every run through raid mode is going to cost you some Zen. Not a whole lot, but if you plan on doing raids often its going to stack up.
Glu Mobile is running a promotion right now for a limited time where anyone who plays Eternity Warriors 2 can earn double the amount of coins than what they normally earn while playing. So how does this new in-game promotion work? Well it is pretty simple actually.
