Not too long ago GREE purchased a game development company by the name of Funzio who happen to be the developer of such games as Crime City and Modern War. Crime City was actually one of the top profitable games on Google Play for a few months which is partially why GREE bought the development studio. Now, after a long period of no game releases, it looks like their four title is getting close to release.
Sega has a lot more in store for Android gamers and at GDC 2013 there was another set of games announced that would be heading to Android in the coming months. These newly announced games are House of the Dead: Overkill – The Lost Reels and Godsrule. So there will be a little zombie love and a little MMORTS love heading our way soon.

Glu Mobile sent us word earlier on this week about a game that would be heading our way sometime this week called Heroes of Destiny. This new game is now here and is a full fledged Action-RPG title that looks like it takes influence, at least visually, from other popular games like Arcane Legends and Dungeon Defenders.
Homeworld was an Sci-fi RTS game released back around 10 years ago and since the game’s release, there really hasn’t been much of a follow-up to it aside from a quick sequel. So instead of continuing to wait, TeamPixel LLC has taken up the task to bring a new Homeworld game not only to PC/Mac but also to Android and iOS devices.
It is a new week and therefor there are some new sales going on right now on Google Play. As of right now there are six games on sale, all of which are actually pretty good games that some of you might want to check out. We talked about 11 Bit Studios announcing their Anomaly 2 game last week which will hopefully be arriving for Android at some point. The main feature we were really interested in with Anomaly 2 was the addition of multiplayer, where one player controls the offensive units while the other player would be in charge of the defensive towers. Well it looks like Android gamers can get a head start on learning strategies for this type of multiplayer gaming with a new title from IEDS called City Conquest.
Gamevil has released a new strategy game called King’s Empire onto Google Play today. This particular game is a sort of kingdom building RTS game where you will need to gather resources and build up your troops in order to claim your rightful place as the new king of the lands.

For those of you out there that like pirates themed games there is a new game releasing soon by the developer Big Blue Bubble and 6waves. If the developer 6waves sounds familiar its because they released Strike Fleet Omega and Offworld. This game places you in the role of a sea captain that must build a raft in order to seek out resources and weapons.
