Word on the street these days is that Square Enix will be bringing Bravely Archive: D’s Report to Android next month although so far Japan is the only location that the game has been announced for. This will be the first Bravely game for smartphones and tablets, with previous title having been made available for the Nintendo 3DS.

Most developers of mobile games spend a decent amount of time building and testing their game before pushing it to Google Play. When we say decent amount of time, we mean 6 months, a year, maybe even 2 years. However it doesn’t happen often when we ear about a game being developed for a longer period of time then 2 years but today we get to report on Auro, a game which has taken four years to develop, test, and land on Google Play.
Com2Us has globally launched their new turn-based RPG called Dragon Knights today which, up until now, had been in a location locked release for testing purposes. This particular title features team-based combat so you will be making your own group of characters to go off adventuring with.
Yesterday we posted a bit of a PSA on our Facebook and Google+ and re-tweeted Square Enix’s post on Twitter about the official release of Final Fantasy VI and the fact that it would be arriving today for Android devices. So far the game has received two expansion and now there is a third one that is available called Whispers Over Steel. 2K Games and Firaxis Games have announced that a new XCOM game is launching tomorrow called XCOM: Enemy Within for Android devices both on Google Play and Amazon’s Appstore. However this won’t be arriving as an IAP but as a new release.
Kemco releases Asdivine Hearts so you can restore the balance of light and shadows in the world
Kemco is keeping up with the trend they have set for themselves in regards to consistently launching retro-style RPGs onto Android and today we get another one to play called Asdivine Hearts. In this game it is your goal to restore the balance of light and shadows to your world. In other words this basically means you will be taking a journey to save the world.
A new fast-paced turn-based strategy game has arrived for the Ouya console called Skulls of the Shogun. Developed by 17-Bit, this game is already available on Google Play and has now been ported over for the Ouya console as well. Players will be taking charge of General Akamoto who also happens to already be dead.
Warhammer 40,000: Regicide will be Games Workshop’s idea of Chess with guns. Coming soon to mobile.
If you have been a PC gamer for a long period of time then you might remember way back in the day when Chess games started getting released for PC that featured animated pieces. These pieces would move and if there happen to be an opponents piece in their new spot, they would attack it. These attacks were fully animated as well. It looked pretty cool back then and we have had many iterations of the same idea since. Games Workshop will be bringing a similar concept to the Warhammer franchise soon.
Foursaken Media surprised us today with a nice little email to let us know about their latest project in development, Phantom Rift. Foursaken Media already has excellent titles in the Google Play Store. We recently reviewed Heroes and Castles and Bug Heroes 2 arrived in the Play Store shortly thereafter. The team of four brothers has a penchant for creating uncommon game worlds that are fascinating and fun to play.
