It is always good to see a variety of sports games within the Play Store. Generally speaking, there is something for everyone, depending on the sport that you like to watch or play. In exciting news, Droid Gamers has been informed, that we are not too far away from Yakuto releasing their highly-lauded game, Table Tennis Touch. The game was released earlier in May, on iOS. Since then, we have been keeping our ear to the ground, in anticipation of any news, that the game will indeed arrive to millions of Android users. Table Tennis fans, your wait is almost over.

So back in February 2015 we reported on Sony’s Playstation Remote Play being ported over to non-Xperia Android devices which includes devices like the Nvidia Shield portable or pretty much any Android device for that matter. However, if you follow the link in that article to go get the app, you will notice one big change. The thread has been locked and closed. So where can you get this app? Well there is some good news. It is still available over on the XDA Forums.
Magica x Magica is a new arcade shooter developed by Magic Cube. Apparently the people over there enjoy using the word ‘magic’. This game is all about rescuing your friend who has been kidnapped by some evil creatures in a magical world. Since it is your best friend that has been kidnapped, which you are very sad about, you still have the motivation to go rescue them regardless of being so sad.
Terra Battle will be getting a visit from The Last Story in a new crossover event that will be happening in the near future. The Last Story is a stealth-style RPG by Mistwalker that is currently available on the Nintendo Wii that takes place in a third person perspective. Terra Battle, which we’ve reported on in the past, is a mobile game on Android and iOS that is also an RPG but in a more tactical style which is also from Mistwalker.
Crazy news this morning for fans of old school RPG series, DotEmu has announced that they will be bringing the Ys Chronicles to Android in the near future… well the first game at least. For those of you not familiar with this franchise, Ys is a JRPG franchise that originally released in North America in 1990 under the slightly different name Ys Book I & II. However Ys Chronicles was a remake of those games, with a bunch of enhancements and packed together, before being released in the early 2000s for PC and the PSP which is where it gained a lot of popularity, not that it wasn’t popular back in the early 1990s.
A recent interview with Kingdom Hearts creator Tetsuya Nomura in Famitsu (a Japanese gaming magazine) revealed some interesting mobile news. The Kingdom Hearts series will be coming in some form or fashion to mobile devices.
OrangePixel’s popular Gunslugs game has finally had its sequel released onto Android today for free. Gunslugs 2 brings the world of 80s and 90s pop art and action heroes to us again but with a little bit more of everything. There are new levels, more characters, more weapons, and more humor.
Nexon Korea announces another mobile title coming our way soon called Fantasy War Tactics. Beta sign-ups are now live.
Nexon seems to be on a bit of a roll lately with mobile game announcements and releases. So far in the last month or so Nexon has announced a partnership with Square Enix for a new Final Fantasy game called Final Fantasy Grandmasters, and held a closed beta for their upcoming TCG title called Mabinogi Duel which was actually pretty decent. More recently they also teamed up with Big Huge Games for the release of DomiNations. So the company has been pretty busy in the mobile game realm.
If there isn’t enough betas to be a part of that are starting soon than here is one more for you to check out. Herocraft has begun beta testing their Warhammer 40K: Space Wolf game for Android. We originally reported on this game back in August of 2013 and it has been in development since then. It appears a lot has changed since our original article as well.
Since Hearthstone was released onto Android it has only been playable natively on tablets. We say natively because there was a way we reported on to play it on your Android phone. However now you can do that and have it completely optimized for your Android phone of choice thanks to today’s update which finally makes this game playable on Android phones.
