OnLive has been updated to fully support the Xperia Play and the phones built-in game controller which should make a lot of Xperia Play owners happy. Until now there was only a patched version floating around from XDA which would allow owners to fully use the controls the phone comes with.

SRRN Games have finally released that tower defense game we talked about a couple of weeks ago called Minor Lords. Originally shown off at this year’s PAX event, this is a rather funny cartoon-ish tower defense game which was designed specifically for tablets.
The remade and modernized version of the Oregon Trail game, called Oregon Trail: Settler, has been released onto the Android Market by Gameloft. This is a sort of Sim City / Farmville type of game where you will be building a town while harvesting food and meat for your townsfolk.
Our friends over at nVidia shot us a nice little email to let us know that the Tegra 3 enhanced version of Shadowgun, similarly named Shadowgun THD, is now available on the Android Market and through Tegra Zone. So what can you look forward to in this enhanced version of Shadowgun?

Rockstar Games cuts the price of Grand Theft Auto III for the holidays, now for the Galaxy Nexus
This won’t be a massive post by any means since we have covered Grand Theft Auto III extensively including a rather in-depth review of it. However, this is a pretty nice deal for a full console game on your Android device as Grand Theft Auto III is now only $3.00 during the holidays.
So far we haven’t really seen any sort of real game bundles landing on the Android Market aside from the Corona Indie Bundle. PlayScape has just been released onto Android which features a massive 50 titles under the roof of one package. It is essentially your own personal arcade on your Android device.
OnLive is faced with a bit of an issue now that they are available on Android phones and tablets and soon to be on iOS devices as well. This little issue is about the overlapping of games and how they plan to combat that. One idea they are throwing around is that future OnLive games could end up being broken down into episodes.
It has been awhile since we have had to report on a game that is being exclusively launched on the Amazon App Store and we were happy with that. However it seems that quiet break is over as 11 Bit Studios have released their award-winning ‘tower offense’ game called Anomaly: Warzone Earth onto the Amazon App Store.
