Well, in Brutus & Futée, the eponymous protagonists are a pair of comic strip characters that entered retirement after their creator mysteriously disappeared. Bored in retirement and longing for the more adventurous days of starring in a strip, they end up experiencing the type of prank that a creator might perform on them, in a strip.

Released by Dreamkind, Rewind: One Last Chance is a game where, to quote the Dev, “truth is on trial”. Players assume the role of Commander Kole Zamon, a commander who’s been captured by the people that he’s terrorized, and is now being tried for crimes against humanity. Unfortunately for Zamon, the scope of the trial extends beyond his actions, and will impact other areas of his life, such as family, loyalty, and his beliefs.
A remastered version of a rather famous game called The 7th Guest has arrived onto Android today in a special 20th Anniversary Edition. This release is also an Android exclusive, which is nice to have for a change. Originally released by Trilobyte Games in 1993, it won a number of awards between 1993 and 1994, ending up as the #1 rated game for 1994. Now that the game has turned twenty, it has been completely remastered and released onto Google Play today.
The 11th Humble Mobile Bundle arrived last week with a nice selection of games available for people to purchase for whatever they want to pay for the bundle. Deus Ex: The Fall is a First Person Shooter from Square Enix. There’s more to this game though, as fans of the series can attest. The game includes elements of stealth, computer hacking, RPG customizations, and moral decisions within the gameplay. The story also has several different threads to it: crooked pharmaceutical companies, whistleblowers, rogue paramilitary groups, assassinations, human augmentation, and more. All in all, it makes for an intriguing story.
Telltale Games’ rather popular series Game of Thrones has the first episode free today on Amazon’s Appstore. Interestingly enough, it isn’t the Free App of the Day. Instead it just happens that Telltale Games or Amazon decided to make it free on there.

Hero generations, released by Heart Shaped Games, is set to come to Ouya this month. The idea for this game is a decent mash-up of a handful of gaming themes, primarily roguelike elements crossed with 4X planning and building. Players assume the role of an adventurer, and can choose what that adventurer will value (love, greed, etc).

Wadjet Eye Games, the makers of The Shivah, Gemini Rue, and the Blackwell Series, are about to release another game, in their classic pixelated style. Called Technobabylon, this game is set in a city that’s located in a dystopian Sci-Fi setting, where an Artificial Intelligence runs the city and the local law enforcement are “all seeing” and “keep tabs on everyone”.
