We don’t usually post about Android devices going on sale mainly because there are plenty of other sites out there that cover this sort of thing. However once in awhile there is a sale so good we just have to post about it and that happens to be the case today with LG’s G2 Android phone on Amazon going for $199 for a limited time. Did we mention this is the Verizon and AT&T’s off-contract price?
Amazon has already offered up a bunch of games on sale to celebrate today being Halloween. Apparently that wasn’t enough and so Amazon has put together a bundle of games that are all themed around zombies and are offering them all up as Amazon’s free app/game of the day.
Amazon seems be getting into the holiday spirit of Halloween and in order to celebrate the upcoming candy-filled monster parade that will be October 31st, 2013 Amazon has started a rather large sale on a big selection of games for their Kindle Fire tablet as well as any other Android phone or tablet that has access to the Amazon AppStore.
A couple of days ago news broke that Amazon was possibly getting into the Android-powered console with a unit of their own that is apparently in development right now and could see its release by the end of this year. While this news is filed under the ‘Rumors’ category of news, it does make sense that Amazon would do this considering they tend to mimic whatever the current hot trend is with Android.
Amazon has announced a new expansion plan that doesn’t involve expanding their service to new countries but instead expanding their catalog of apps and games available through their app store. However these won’t be coming in the typical fashion everyone is used to and that is because these will be web applications made using languages like HTML5.
A couple of weeks ago we talked about a shoot ’em up arcade game called Sine Mora that was confirmed to be heading to Android in the next couple of weeks. Well it seems as though the waiting is over and Sine Mora is now available for Android. However, there is one small catch, and that is Sine Mora is currently only available on Amazon’s App Store.
Even though the new Nexus 7 Android tablets were announced only a couple of days ago and are slated to hit Google Play for purchase on July 30th, 2013, if you happen to be the sort of person that doesn’t like waiting a few extra days to order yours then you might want to head on over to Amazon where the $229 WiFi model is already up there for sale.
While we all knew that Tegra 4 devices were on the horizon, it seems as though Toshiba wanted to get their Tegra 4 tablets out before anyone else and have quietly had their new line-up of Android tablets make an appearance on both Amazon and Best Buy. Back in June the company did say that they would be releasing their new line-up, strange to see them actually hitting retail outlets on time.
If you happen to be a casino game fan then there is some good news for you today, especially if you enjoy playing in poker tournaments. That is because Konami has released their Casino League title onto Android devices this morning, offering up nothing but pure tournament poker.
