If you own an Ouya Android console and happen to enjoy games with robots in them, then there is a new bundle available as of today on the Ouya Marketplace you might want to check out called the ROBO Bundle. The bundle comes with a total of four games, all of which feature mechanical versions of human beings.

Sonic The Hedgehog has become the mascot equivalent of Val Kilmer, depressing us with his bloated antics. Back in December of 2014 OddWorld Inhabitants brought Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath to Android, first through Amazon and then Google Play shortly afterwards. Now owners of the Android-based micro-console Ouya can now get in on the action as the game is now available on the Ouya Marketplace.
Interesting news coming out of northern Japan today as an official ‘No Video Games Day’ has been started in order to curb video game playing in the Hokkaido Prefecture. So far this “No Video Games Day’ is only for the Hokkaido Prefecture and isn’t a nation-wide event although it could certainly turn into one.
If there is one thing you can count on for with Gameloft, it is the fact that they will always be one of the first developers to optimize their games for any new upcoming gaming hardware or platforms based off of Android that look promising. So the insanity that is called Black Friday, and to a lesser extent Cyber Monday, is now over and there were plenty of pretty awesome deals to take advantage of if you happen to have a bit of spare cash on hand. Some of the better deals included devices like Amazon’s Fire Android Phone, the unlocked version, which was discounted a rather large $250.
While having 1000 games on your marketplace might not seem like a massive accomplishment, when you compare it to the sheer number of titles available on Google Play, 1000 games released is pretty good. This is exactly what Ouya has accomplished as of this month.
Upcoming Ouya game Elliot’s Quest is a retro-style action-RPG title that will be arriving soon from developers Ansimuz. This is the company’s attempt at making a spiritual successor to the Zelda II game from back in the day and while the visuals of this game don’t show it, the mechanics that we are seeing do seem to take some inspiration for the old Zelda title.
A new fast-paced turn-based strategy game has arrived for the Ouya console called Skulls of the Shogun. Developed by 17-Bit, this game is already available on Google Play and has now been ported over for the Ouya console as well. Players will be taking charge of General Akamoto who also happens to already be dead.
Team2Bit have announced their newest title that will be heading to Ouya soon called Reagan Gorbachev. This development studio has already released one game that did quite well called Fist Puncher and now this new game will be heading exclusively to Ouya this month.
