EA has pushed out a new update for their Sims FreePlay title on mobile, officially titled the Dream Homes update. As you are probably guessing from the name of this update, this will allow players to build new homes that feature things like balconies, patios, and basements. In fact the update allows for those of you who consider yourselves master builders to jump into build mode and actually construct much more intricate houses.

If you’ve ever played the classic version of Asteroids, you’re already wise to most of what Spin Commander’s gameplay is like. Players control an arrow in the middle of the screen, similar to an encircled triangle, and need to dispatch the various objects that will cause it harm.
For fans of top down, tactical, squad based shooters, there will be another entry to Android’s growing list. Currently dubbed “Project CQB” (per the dev’s website, that’s only a place holding title), this game is where players control a squad of three units, and will face off against a squad of the same size, with each side attempting to killing off the others.
Our friends at Wizcorp, the company behind the porting of the upcoming DOFUS game for tablets, have told us that they are also currently working on another port and this is for their Striker Arena game, which was released onto iOS in March 2015. This game is arriving onto Android because Wizcorp’s Kickstarter campaign to bring Striker Arena to other platforms was successful.
Acer has announced that they are going to try their hand at developing a gaming-centric Android tablet which will be to go along their Predator gaming PC brand. This announcement came during the company’s announcement-filled press conference today in New York. Even the design of the tablet will compliment the red and black angular design of Acer’s Predator PCs.
Rovio has released a new trailer for their upcoming Angry Birds Fight! game and while this may not be on the level as the first two trailers, there is still a level of strangeness to this trailer. Admittedly, as strange as these trailers are, they are also somewhat entertaining, sort of like when you see a car accident, you can’t help but look a little bit at least.
Paradox Interactive releases a new trailer for Knights of Pen & Paper 2, complete with 60FPS gameplay
Paradox Interactive has released a new trailer for their upcoming tabletop gaming inspired title Knights of Pen & Paper 2. This is the sequel to their original Knights of Pen & Paper game which we went hands-on with during GDC 2015 and found that it was quite a lot of fun. This sequel will also have plenty of improvement over the original include a much needed inventory system.
Warhammer 40K: Regicide Early Access on Steam begins May 5th. Launching on Android later this year.
Released by Hammerfall Publishing, Regicide is designed to be a “fresh take” on the Warhammer 40K universe through a blend of strategy and cinema. The story centers around a group of Space Marines sent to investigate an unusual video transmission that originated from an imperiled frontier world called Hethgar Prime. Early Access for Warhammer 40K: Regicide will be starting soon for the PC version.
[Update: Not For Consumers] Nvidia’s upcoming Shield Console may be getting a second 500GB option for $299
One device a lot of us are waiting to get our grubby little hands on is Nvidia’s upcoming Shield Console which will be having pre-orders going live soon. Up until now there has only been one model known, which was the $199 and comes with 16GB of storage. However, it appears that there may be a second model available as well with a lot more storage.
