Google has also changed the policy in regards to third-party billing services and the use of those services by Android developers. Now that the Google Play store has both in-app purchases and subscription services, Google has decided to make sure developers use their services instead of others.

Support for the Android-based gaming console continues to grow and now we have one of the first indie developers to publicly come out and announce their support for the console with the release of their first game called GunBlitz. This little gem of a game is a side-scrolling arcade shooter for those of you who enjoy games like R-Type.
RenRen Games have told us that they will be bringing their highly successful MMO strategy game (currently on iOS and for browsers) over to Android called Chaos of Three Kingdoms Deluxe. The Wikipad gaming tablet is something we have been keeping our eye on ever since we checked it out at CES 2012. Full Fat Games, developers of all the ‘Flick’ sports games on Android, are making a move to go freemium with their future games. While they state that they are going freemium, they also refer to their games as free-to-play which could cause a bit of confusion since those are two different things. As it stands right now, we will go with free-to-play as the choice they mean and their first title to fall into their new business model is their upcoming game called Agent Dash.
