The closer it gets to Christmas, the less time people have to buy all the presents they need to get in time before the big day arrives. This is especially true for myself as I always seem to get behind on buying everyone’s presents until the last minute. If you are looking for a good deal on Amazon’s Fire TV Gaming Edition, whatever the reason may be for getting one, there is one going on right now.

If you happen to own Amazon’s Fire TV set-top box, be it the original one or the recently announced HD unit, there are some major franchises on Android you aren’t able to play. One of those was Final Fantasy but that has all changed today with the release of four Final Fantasy titles onto Amazon’s Fire TV.
Just days after Google announced its latest iteration of the popular Chromecast streaming device, Amazon has made an announcement of its own; Amazon sellers are banned from selling any version of the device, or its peer, the Apple TV. The move demonstrates just how serious Amazon is about bolstering its own streaming service, but that hasn’t stopped Amazon from offering a friendly spin that seems unrelated to competition.
Almost a week ago exactly, Amazon’s rumored new 4K Fire TV went through FCC filing, letting us take an early look at the company’s next set-top box. Today Amazon has officially announced their new 4K Fire TV unit, with two different packages being available at the beginning of October. One of those packages is being called Fire TV Gaming Edition.
Yesterday Apple held their event where they announced a few new products like the iPad Pro tablet, which is big and expensive, as well as Apple TV. Amazon has made a move to bring a bit more gaming power to their Amazon Fire TV set-top box. In an announcement today, Amazon has brought GameFly’s streaming service to their set-top box in an attempt to offer owners, and future owners, more gaming possibilities with Amazon Fire TV. The service itself hasn’t fully launched onto all platforms and all regions yet, which is interesting since it is now available for Amazon’s Fire TV.
One rather popular game we wrote about not too long ago is PAKO by Tree Man Games. This neat little title is a car chase simulator which, as you can probably guess from that description, is all about running from the cops. It is quite the fun game and it now has Amazon Fire TV support.
Cyber Monday sales are in full swing and while you don’t have to wait in line for hours ahead of time like Black Friday, lots of these sales are in limited quantity so you don’t want to delay in picking up anything you happen to want today. Amazon’s Cyber Monday sales are going strong and there are plenty of deals to pick up including their Fire TV, Amazon’s Fire Phone and more, all of which are on sale today for some pretty good discounts.
Hello readers of DroidGamers, I am Samir. I will be writing articles as much as possible around here, and I am very excited. Writing on a tech/gaming site has been a small dream of mine. I’m in high school, and I get loads of homework that is unfortunately more important than my role here. Every weekend, expect me to write a weekly wrap up of the Android gaming news in the world (I may also toss in some other significant tech news). If I have time during the week, I will write articles about anything going on just like I am now. I hope you enjoy my work. Feel free to follow me on Google+ at +Samir Shekhawat. Now, the new streaming box from Amazon.

While there is plenty of news about this, there’s also a decent amount of gaming news regarding Fire TV. For starters, Gameloft has already begun optimizing their games for Amazon’s set top box.
