As you all already know by now, the Tegra 4 chip and the Nvidia Project Shield handheld console, which we will talk about after this, were announced at a special event yesterday night before CES 2013 began officially. Naturally, with the launch of nVidia’s latest mobile processor launch, they have unveiled a selection of games that will arrive on the platform in the coming months.

Electronic Arts is actually having quite the sale this holiday seasons and it goes much further than Need For Speed: Most Wanted and Contre Jour being only $0.99 for the holidays, while a lot of the free-to-play games EA has, such as TheSims and Theme Park, are having sales regarding in-game purchases. There also happens to be holiday themed items you can find in some of those games as well.
Last week the developers behind the MOGA mobile gaming system, PowerA, happen to be basically giving away MOGA units for one day where all buyers had to pay was the shipping. Those units should hopefully be already arriving to people who managed to et in on the deal and now PowerA has released a list of some of the newly released games that happen to support the MOGA controller.
Lots of news coming out of Madfinger Games today in regards to two of their games, Shadowgun: Deadzone and Dead Trigger. To start off, we will cover the quick news that Dead Trigger is now available on the Amazon AppStore for Kindle Fire owners to enjoy. If you happen to own a Kindle Fire, you can hope on over to the Amazon AppStore and pick up Dead Trigger for the low cost of free.
A few days ago, a new free-to-play first-person shooter by Cmune quietly made its way to Google Play for all the Android FPS lovers out there to enjoy. It is an online multiplayer shooter that claims to have over 8 million players playing worldwide on PC. UberStrike allows for cross-platform play between Android, iOS and PC, and it boasts some good (if somewhat raw at the moment) graphics. On the splash screen, there is the nVidia Tegra logo, but we cannot confirm for now if this is actually an officially sanctioned Tegra game or not.
Madfinger Games have pushed out their Christmas update which we talked about last week for Dead Trigger. With this update comes a new boss called Zanta who is in the holiday spirit and regardless if you have been naughty or nice, he wants to kill you and eat your brains. However, Zanta isn’t the only thing coming with this update.
Madfinger Games have dropped a couple of hints over the past week or so as to what will be arriving with the upcoming Christmas theme update for Dead Trigger. One thing you can expect is regardless of whether you’ve been good or not, we are pretty sure that Zanta just wants to kill you and eat your brains.
It appears that Android gamers are getting a double shot of good news in the past 24 hours. Along with Rockstar Games putting Grand Theft Auto: Vice City back onto the Google Play store, Gameloft has also put Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour back up as well after it to was taken down due to some downloading issues users were experiencing.
What was supposed to be the official launch of Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour last night has unfortunately taken a turn for the worst and Gameloft has pulled the game from Google Play temporarily. The problem? Well we don’t exactly know what specifically the issue was but a Gameloft spokesperson did release a statement to PocketGamer to address the issue… sort of.
So, the Android community has waited in bated breath for Gameloft’s latest war-themed shooter Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour, and it is out now for all FPS lovers and soldier-wannabes alike on Google Play. The 4th installment in Gameloft’s popular Modern Combat franchise takes you all around the globe – from Antarctica to Barcelona – and puts you in the shoes of the good and bad guy.
