A new tactical/strategy RPG is heading our way soon from Bulwark Studios and Kasedo Games called Crowntakers. Currently this game is in the final stages of development and judging from the preview trailer that was just released for Crowntakers, this looks like it could be quite the fun strategy RPG title.
Just a little over a year ago we reported on an official Firefly game that would be heading to Android soon called Firefly Online which was slated for release this Summer. As you can tell from the game’s name, this will be an online multiplayer title but it isn’t necessarily an MMORPG in the traditional sense of running around, completing quests, leveling up and collecting gear.
The Walking Dead: No Man’s Land is an upcoming mobile game for Android that will be released alongside the mid-season premiere of The Walking Dead Season 5. Set in the TV continuity of The Walking Dead, as opposed to TellTale’s game which takes place in the comic book universe, there wasn’t really much revealed in the cinematic trailer for the game other than that there will be zombies. Go figure.
Dreamgate Studios has released a charming and witty trailer for their first game release Light in the Dark. It will arrive in the Play Store later this year in September. With a nod to Indiana Jones in the trailer and colorful graphics akin to Cut the Rope, Dreamgate Studios has crafted what a mix of physics and color blending mechanics to puzzle your brain.
Once a fan favorite before development seemed to stop altogether, Trendy Entertainment’s Dungeon Defenders was a great game to play on Android. Now it seems that life is finally being breathed back into the franchise for Android devices with the launch of Dungeon Defenders Eternity.
Every now and then it is a good idea to take on new gaming challenges in different genres. It helps to keep the mind sharp. MAG Interactive, the team behind the original word game Ruzzle, which has been downloaded by over fifty million people returns to the Play Store with a new game entitled Ruzzle Adventure. If you enjoyed the first Ruzzle game, this one throws in a few new twists and is as full of word challenges as its predecessor. This time around the game is single player, but social components are still built in for you to enjoy.
If you’ve read even a portion of our articles in the past month or so regarding Gameloft’s upcoming game Modern Combat 5: Blackout, then you should be pretty well educated on a majority of the content and features coming with the game when it gets released. One thing most people probably don’t know is when the game is actually going to come out. This is mainly because Gameloft hadn’t announced a release date, only that it would be coming this Summer.
It wasn’t too long ago that we heard about this title coming to Android. It combines two categories that have had much success in the gaming community. They are endless runners and skateboarding. Not that this type of game hasn’t been attempted before, but with Supervillain Studios and TransWorld SKATEboarding at the helm, their synergy has created a game with a considerable amount of entertainment.
E3 2014 is officially underway and SEGA has announced a new Sonic title that will be heading our way later this Summer called Sonic Jump Fever. As you are probably guessing, this new Sonic game is based off of the original Sonic Jump that recently landed onto Android as well.
There are a lot of big budget game developers that produce amazing games. They have scores of team members and the technology to produce what eventually become blockbuster titles. When we come across a game that is equally impressive from an indie game developer everyone should take notice. These are the games that should be celebrated. That is what has happened to two-team indie game developers Danielle Swank and Jim Fleming of Barking Mouse Studios with their first game Lost Toys.
