G5 Entertainment has released over 100 games on to Google Play and Amazon’s Appstore, most of which are free with IAPs. However, they also have a pretty decent sized list of games available at a premium price (but still include optional IAPs) and these particular games have had their prices reduced down to a buck.

Depending on where you are located in the world, today is April Fool’s Day or tomorrow will be. Either way the jokes and pranks have already started and the first two spotted come from Google and Samsung. This certainly isn’t either company’s first year of pranks but this year both are quite entertaining to say the least.
When Oculus Rift first announced it was bringing virtual reality back into the ether of human consciousness, I immediately thought of the survival horror possibilities. The genre had just been given fresh legs thanks to indie hits like Amnesia and Outlast, and I knew VR could take it to the next level.
Google has announced that they will begin using the industry standard for age ratings on Android games on Google Play. This means Android games will now have a rating similar to the ESRB rating system which is currently used to rate games on PC and console.
There is a decent amount of news coming from Google today and there is a reason for that, Google I/O 2015 registration begins this morning at 9:00am PDT. However, before you go bananas with the reload button, trying to get your ticket before the site crashes or they are sold out in 10 minutes, which happens every year, Google will be doing things a bit differently this year.

One thing that has always been great about Google Play is that developers can immediate publish their applications and games right to the market without any wait time at all. The same goes for updates that need to be pushed to their existing apps and games. However that appears to be changing now with Google announcing that they will begin reviewing apps and games to uncover any violations (TOS violations, inappropriate content, rating violations etc etc) and malware.

When Google first announced it was bringing VR technology to the masses through a cardboard interface, I thought it was one of their famous April Fool’s pranks. Seeing as how April was still several months away, either they were actually serious or really getting a leg up on other pranks this year.
It’s Friday and therefor it is time for another round-up of all the Android games that are on sale right now. This is another week where the list may not be that big but the titles on the list are pretty good, so there should be something on there that you might want to get.
Up until now if you wanted to buy a Nexus brand device or perhaps a Chromebook, you would have to go to the Google Play store and order it from there. Today Google has officially released a brand new storefront online dedicated to just device sales. If you try to buy a device on Google Play now, you will be redirected to the new Google Store.
