If appears that Razer is looking to bolster the sales of their Android set-top box / micro-console called the Forge TV as it has now appeared on Google’s Store for devices. We got to go hands-on with this set-top box back during GDC this year and with the short amount of time we had with it, it was a decent little box to play with.
It was only a matter of time before this happened, but Google has apparently begun a Free App of the Week feature which is similar to what Amazon does over on their appstore, except this is a weekly thing and not a daily thing like Amazon. What is even more interesting though is that you basically have to hunt for this Free App of the Week as there’s no immediate promotion for it on the front of Google Play.

It is time for another Android game sale round-up for the end of this week. We are doing it today instead of our usual Friday round-up since we have already talked a lot this week about sales, so we wanted to wait till the very end of this week to make sure we get all the good games into this list this week.
[Updated] Postal has apparently been denied from Google Play due to ‘gratuitous violence’. Amazon eventually allows Postal’s release.
Google Play has many different nicknames for it, with one of the more popular ones being that it is the ‘Wild West’ of games and applications. This is mainly due to Google’s easy access for publishers who want to upload their games and apps onto Google Play. As long as you follow the TOS )Terms of Service), don’t break anything related to copyrights, and pay your one-time developer fee to open you account, you can pretty much publish whatever you want. Games that get denied by Apple usually make an appearance on Google Play.
