OUYA will indeed be arriving with Jelly Bean when it launches next year

So a little OUYA news for you today, since we haven’t had much in awhile. Actually we get OUYA news all the time, mostly related to games coming to it and we will be doing a weekly round-up every week soon to talk about them. However, today’s news is more about the system itself and the company building the Android-based console gaming system has confirmed that it will be coming with Jelly Bean when it arrives next year.

It’s all official now, the Nexus 10, LG Nexus 4 and Nexus 7 32GB

Well today was supposed to be the large media event Google was going to hold but it unfortunately got canceled due to the bad weather going on over on the East coast, which we hope all of our readers over there are taking measures to stay safe. Google, instead of rescheduling the event to announce the new Nexus devices, has gone ahead and made everything official today anyways through an online announcement instead. So what is official? The LG Nexus 4, the Nexus 10 tablet and the Nexus 7 32GB version tablet.

Samsung’s Galaxy Note II now available for purchase for $370 on T-Mobile or $685 unlocked

The next generation of the Samsung Galaxy Note, appropriately named the Samsung Galaxy Note II, has officially gone on sale for those of you who have been eagerly waiting to get your hands on this new device. Depending on the route you take in acquiring one, you can purchase it for $370 on-contract through T-Mobile or, if you want to get it a little cheaper, you can hit up Wirefly where it is currently going for $279 with a new two-year contract.

Editorial: Is the onslaught of Nexus brand devices tarnishing the brand overall?

Back in the day of the first Nexus device, the Nexus One, the device brought with it all the hardware we had wanted at that time and then some. It was what could truly be considered a flagship device as it was ahead of pretty much any other Android device available at the time it launched. Well the good news today for those of you waiting is that the waiting is actually over. The MOGA will be hitting the shelves at Toys R’ Us and Best Buy starting today as well as Fred Meyer and Gamestop. At about the time the Nexus 7 tablet was hitting the Google Play store, rumors of multiple Nexus branded devices coming from multiple manufacturers started to swirl. The rumor was that there would be up to 5 different Nexus devices coming from different manufacturers by the end of this year. Now, with a new set of photos that showcase a Sony phone with Google labeled on the back instead of ‘with Google’, could this be the second Nexus device that will be hitting the Play store soon?

The MOGA mobile gaming controller gets some big retail backing, pre-orders now open

There are a couple of new mobile gaming controllers gearing up to hit store shelves real soon that we are eager to get our grubby little hands on to try out and play games with. There is the SteelSeries Free wireless game controller, previously known as the SteelSeries ION, which is now available as of October 2nd, 2012 and then there is the rather interesting MOGA controller. Slated to ht store shelves this month, PowerA have announced today that the MOGA controller has some serious retail backing and will be available in some rather big name stores.
