The 7th Guest: 20th Anniversary Edition, now available as an Android exclusive

A remastered version of a rather famous game called The 7th Guest has arrived onto Android today in a special 20th Anniversary Edition. This release is also an Android exclusive, which is nice to have for a change. Originally released by Trilobyte Games in 1993, it won a number of awards between 1993 and 1994, ending up as the #1 rated game for 1994. Now that the game has turned twenty, it has been completely remastered and released onto Google Play today.

Five Night’s At Freddy’s 3 Review: Scott Cawthon’s latest horror game is simultaneously his most ambitious and frustrating yet

If you’ve been living under a rock for the past year you probably haven’t heard of the mega hit Five Night’s At Freddy’s. Designed and created entirely by one man, this series explores the horrors of being a security guard in a Chuck’E’Cheese style restaurant while animatronic animals hunt you down. The first two games had similar gameplay mechanics that revolved around monitoring security camera’s while you waited for an impending jump scare. The third one is a different beast entirely.

Five Nights At Freddy’s 3 now has its first teaser trailer

Yesterday we reported on a few teaser images released by Scott Games for their upcoming third installment into the Five Nights at Freddy’s horror series of games and today the developer has released the game’s first teaser trailer. The great thing about this teaser trailer is that we do get to learn a little about the story in this third game which is more than we knew yesterday.

Dead End Alley will be a Virtual Reality zombie killer featuring a chainsaw controller

If immersion is your type of thing and you are always looking for games to play that really bring you into that game, then you might want to keep your eye out for a game called Dead End Alley. While the game is currently available on Android already, it is the Oculus Rift version we are talking about right now. Sure it will bring zombie killing right into your face but the rather cool part is that you can use a controller in the shape of a chainsaw do to the killing with.

[Updated] Neverending Nightmares, a horror game about mental illness, up on Kickstarter. Coming to Ouya and possibly tablets

You may see a few articles floating around other websites right now about a developer who suffered a rather big defeat with one of his other games, called Retro/Grade, but is taking another stab at it with a new psychological horror game called Neverending Nightmares. Currently up on Kickstarter for additional funding as well as Steam Greenlight for voting, Neverending Nightmare is partly based on Retro/Grade creator Matt Gilgenbach’s own experience in dealing with mental health and the dark place he was after Retro/Grade.

Castelao Pictures has unleashed a horror game based on the popular Spanish flick “Rec” (short for record). If you’re unfamiliar with the name you may have heard of “Quarantine”. The movie was adapted on the U.S. shores to appeal to U.S market and received mixed reviews. Using a first person view you’ll follow along the story of the the original movie along with it’s sequel.
