While not an entirely new game these days, 10tons’ Boom Brigade 2 is still a great game to play and now those of you who have Kindle Fire devices can snag a copy of this rather unique game off of the Amazon AppStore finally. Back in September we reported on two games that would be coming from Crytek to Android. One was Skylanders Cloud Patrol which was released in conjunction with Activision. The second game was called Fibble – Flick n’ Roll which happens to have been published by Crytek themselves quietly onto the Amazon AppStore back in mid-September quietly.

Minecraft has invaded yet another platform, once again in the mobile landscape of things as now Minecraft: Pocket Edition is available through the Amazon AppStore for those of you who own a Kindle Fire or one of the new Kindle Fire HD tablets. No more needing to root and side-load the game onto your Kindle Fire and hoping that it works out.
While a lot of the major labels in the gaming industry have already solidified their place, at least to some extent, in the mobile gaming scene, Activision Blizzard are pretty late to the game in terms of releases. However, with the formation of their new division, Activision Mobile, they are now ready to focus more on mobile gaming and, interestingly enough, when it comes to Android it will be with the Kindle Fire HD tablets.
Last week Amazon unveiled a whole new line-up of tablets that are the second generation of the Kindle Fire and along with their announcement, Amazon said that two of the tablets would begin shipping out today. The new Kindle Fire HD line was actually fairly big, coming with a variety of models depending on what you wanted, whether it is a smaller 7″ tablet, a bigger 8.9″ WiFi version or even an 4G/LTE edition of the 8.9″ tablet. Well for those of you who pre-ordered the 7″ variety of the Kindle Fire HD, those units begin shipping out today.
We aren’t even 24 hours past the media event that Amazon held where they announced a range of devices from a new eReader to a line of Kindle Fire HD tablets. Now we have two more companies adding support for the new Kindle Fire tablets. Both Activision and Crytek have announced games for all of the new Kindle Fire devices, Skylander Cloud Patrol and Fibble Flick n’ Roll.
Good news for future Kindle Fire HD tablets owners and annoying news for those of you who own a device that EA hasn’t brought game compatibility to yet, they have announced that they have already begun making their games optimized for the new line of tablets from Amazon.
Today Amazon held their press event in which they announced a new eReader along with a whole new line of Android Kindle Fire tablets. The new line of tablets, dubbed the Kindle Fire HD, comes in four different flavors depending on what your needs/desires are. There is the 7″ Kindle Fire HD WiFi, 8.9″ Kindle Fire HD WiFi, 8.9″ Kindle Fire HD 4G/LTE. Along with those three tablets, the Kindle Fire 2 tablet was also announced.

Developed by EnsenaSoft, this new sports game has a few things going for it that most of the current Olympic themed games don’t come with.
