For those that currently own the Transformer Prime may want to brace your selves: ASUS may soon release a device to replace Prime. While this might sound like the updated Prime Asus announced back at CES that apparently isn’t the case.

One of the first items we walked right into when the doors open yesterday was the Intel booth and there they had a prototype of their upcoming Intel Android tablet. Coming from Lenovo, this particular tablet will be running Ice Cream Sandwich when it is released.
For those of you who were unable to tune into the live streaming of the nVidia Press Conference, there was a lot of talk about Tegra 3. While most of it was information we already knew, nVidia announced a few interesting new features.
For those of you who haven’t pre-ordered an Asus Transformer Prime it may have been a good thing to have waiting as Asus has unveiled a new design for the Tegra 3 quad-core tablet, sporting a higher resolution (1920×1200) over the original 1280×800.
We usually don’t make it a habit to post about rumors or what ‘sources say’ most of the time but when it comes to the idea of a Google branded tablet (think Nexus tablet), we can’t help but get a little excited at the thought of one. It would be about damn time too that Google made one.
We already know about a company called Envizions who happen to be developing the EVO 2 gaming console which will sport a dual-core processor and the Android operating system. Since we’ve reported on it the console has undergone some delays due to adding new features like motion gestures and things of that nature.
There are plenty of countries that have their own unique Android devices made by other not-so-major manufacturers and in this case the JXD S7100 Android gaming tablets comes to us straight from China. As ugly as this device looks it actually sports some pretty bad ass specs that a similar to the Samsung Galaxy SII.
Just when you thought all the Nexus news would start to slow down, the Google Chairman and former CEO Eric Schmidt has decided to stir up the pot a little more by revealing that Google is working on a tablet of “the highest quality” which looks to be hitting the market in early 2012.
Some bad news coming down the pipeline for anyone who has pre-ordered an Asus Transformer Prime from Amazon. Unfortunately it looks like letters (e-mails) are going out stating that orders are being canceled due to a supply shortage from the supplier.
Pre-orders have just begun as of yesterday through both Amazon and Asus for the Tegra 3 quad-core Transformer Prime tablet. GameStop is also apparently going to be carrying this monster of a tablet as well and happen to be showing it off on their site. The interesting news though is that they have also added a release date!
