Mediocre Games have been teasing on and off regarding a sequel to their rather popular water-based physics game Sprinkle. Up until now the sequel has simply been known as Sprinkle 2 and from early game screenshots we got to learn about a few new game mechanics that would be introduced into this game such as having to get from island to island to save your friends.
We’ve talked about this update a couple of times in the recent past and now we get to finally stop talking about it now that the new Abra-Ca-Bacon update for Angry Birds Seasons has finally arrived. In case you’ve missed our previous coverage regarding this update, the big feature to arrive is the inclusion of portal to the game.

Rovio has finally released details about when the next Angry Birds Seasons update will be hitting Android devices. This update we’ve talked about a few times in the past mainly due to the fact that a new game mechanic will be introduced with this update and that is Portals. They work just like you think they will. Flinging a bird into one portal will transport it to another location on the stage where your bird will come out of.
Kiz Studios are the developers of the rather enjoyable Critter Escape game that was released onto Android not too long ago. The company is back with a new game called Chuck the Muck and features physics-based puzzles that you’ll need to solve by throwing muck around each stage.
Rovio’s physics-based construction puzzle game Bad Piggies has been updated today with a new selection of levels to work your way through as well as a couple of new gadget to use when building your contraptions. Bad Piggies has also received a new feature as well that has sharing your gameplay in mind.
Rovio has announced a new feature that will start rolling out to their games called Accounts. What this nifty little feature does is allow people who play any of Rovio’s games to save their progress at any time and pick up where they left off on another device regardless if it is a phone or tablet.
Back in April we talked about Angry Birds Seasons and that Rovio was getting ready to release an update to it which would bring a whole new game mechanic to it, one that we speculated would be something along the lines of portals that you could fling a bird into and teleport them to a different location in each stage. Rovio has now confirmed that this update will indeed have the new portal game mechanic.
Rovio has been teasing that their Facebook game Angry Birds Friends would be arriving onto Android and iOS today and sure enough the game is now available on Google Play for those of you who want to get a little more competitive with your bird flinging skills. As we explained in our last article about Angry Birds Friends, this version of the original game pretty much plays out just like the original game but with the addition of a few social features.
