Nvidia is pushing out a new update for their Shield Android TV console which brings with it a lot of requested enhancements, fixes, and upgrades to various aspects of their OS and software. Depending on what you use your Shield console for, this update is a much welcomed improvement overall.

Recoilman is the first game from a new game development studio called Foam Creature which will be arriving onto Android later this year. Apparently Recoilman is almost too macho of a superhero, and that even his moustache alone can get a phone number with barely any effort. He also used to be evil but got sick of corrupted bankers and politicians. He’s a bit confused.
To many, a newly launched system isn’t complete without a great platformer. As Mario and Sonic have proven in their iconic games, nothing can challenge players of every level like a colorful, and surprisingly complex, platformer. Juju fills that niche rather well.
Humble Bundle, known for the name-your-own-price for bundles of games and supporting charity while you’re at it, released Humble Mobile Bundle 13 back on the start of the month. When it started, this bundle had six games and now, a week later, more games have been added to it like usual.
There is a new Oddworld game heading to mobile soon and this new mobile version of Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee is going to be used to basically help with the re-launch of Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee for PC on Steam as well. Square One Games, the folks behind Oddworl: Stranger’s Wrath, will be making the mobile version of Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee, which is actually done already. It won’t be released just yet though, not until the revamping of the PC version is almost done.
A new puzzle-platformer has made the trip to Google Play called Blood Collector. Developed by Cistern Cats, this is sort of one of those hidden gems you happen to find on Google Play. Blood Collector has a Lemmings type of feel to it in some ways, mainly because the zombies just keep on walking in one direction unless something happens to change that.
With the official launch of the Shield Android TV console, there has also been a few new games to be released alongside the console’s launch. However, not all of these new games are specifically for the Shield Console. Some of these titles are also for the Shield tablet, and there are even a few for all three Shield branded devices. Some of these games people have been waiting to play on their Shield Tablets and now that they are available, during the launch of the Shield Console, you might not be aware that you can play them on your tablet.
[Update: Game Released] New Puzzle Platformer Looking for Laika launches onto Amazon’s Appstore today
Looking for Laika is a new puzzle platformer that has arrived for Android today, currently available only on Amazon’s Appstore. The game itself actually has a rather cool minimalistic look to it visually and the gameplay is that of a side-scrolling platformer but with a more unique method of controlling your character.
Developed by 232 Studios, Epic Eric is a new puzzle-platformer that will be arriving onto Android next week. In this game players will be assuming the role of Eric the Knight, or Princess Erica depending on which way you want to roll, with the goal of rescuing your beloved. Depending on who you are playing as, that will end up either being Eric the Knight or Princess Erica.
In Nihilumbra, players assume the role of Born, a creature of darkness that is native to the realm that contains the Void and wishing to escape it. The game is a puzzle-platformer, with multiple levels on each of five different worlds, with Born using running and jumping to navigate the various stages.
