Cie Games are the developers of the top ranked multiplayer drag racing game on iOS called Racing Rivals. During the Samsung Developers Conference that is going on right now, the company announced that an Android version is on the way and should be landing on Google Play ‘shortly’.
Welcome to another end-of-the-week round-up of Android games that are on sale right now. This week’s list is made up of a lot of leftovers from last week, all of which are good games, as well as some new additions of some pretty solid titles you’ll want to check out and possibly snag a copy of while they are on sale.
Sega has announced their upcoming line-up of games for mobile and out of the five games announced, two of them will be arriving onto Android in the near future. Of course this doesn’t mean that the other three won’t show up, just that these two are the ones arriving sooner rather than later.
Minecraft and even games earlier than that have created a trend over the last year or so with games featuring the blocky style of visuals being released. The good thing about this trend is that most of the games released using this style of visual happen to end up being good and enjoyable games to play. Dogbyte Games has a new title heading our way soon that features this style of visuals called Blocky Roads.
Rovio has been hinting at a kart racing game for quite some time now but today the company made it official by announcing a release date as well as the first, of probably many, trailers for everyone to check out. There is also a full micro-site for the game now as well which, we must admit, is actually pretty nifty looking.
Usually we end up seeing a Gameloft title appearing on the occasional Android device when a new one hits store shelves. This also is usually a demo version most of the time. However that will be changing with the upcoming GamePad 2 from Archos as Gameloft will have two full free games pre-installed onto the upcomin gaming centric tablet.
Last week we predicted that the next Android focused Humble Bundle would be arriving this week. Well it looks like our ‘prediction’ was right on time as it has now launched with two games making their Android debuts – Star Command and Time Surfer.
If you happen to be a fan of kart racing games then you’ll be pleased to know that Sega has finally brought theirs over to Android. Officially called Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing, players will be racing against other well-known characters from certain Sega games across a variety of tracks.
Gameloft has announced their newest racing game for Android which will be arriving sometime this Fall. GT Racing 2: The Real Car Experience will be their newest addition to their GT Racing series of games and is currently being developed in partnership with Mercedes-Benz which means we can expect plenty of cars from that company being in this game.
EA’s and Firemonkey’s Real Racing 3 has received an update that brings with it a new selection of muscle cars for players to collect and race with. All of these American muscle cars are now available and are pretty much the most legendary models and years for each on of these cars.
