Square Enix has begun celebrating the first birthday of their Final Fantasy: Record Keeper title on mobile with an update to the game. This update brings with it a new rare item players can try to earn, as well as a few other rare items being up for giving away for free.

Noodlecake and Flippancy Studios have released a new teaser trailer for their upcoming game Dig Deep – An Intergalactic Mining Adventure. While there isn’t a ton of details about this particular title, we will get to know it quite intimately at GDC when we check it out in person.
Released by Pixel Mystique, Ninjet is a new vertical arcade shooter for Android. Players will assume the role of a pilot who’s tasked with the objective of single-handedly stopping an endless alien invasion, flying something akin to a transformer. The ship is normally a starfighter, but for short periods of time can transform into a giant, sword wielding robot.
Reactor – Energy Sector Tycoon is a new tycoon style of game but not in the traditional sense. With most tycoon games you are building something, whether it is an amusement park, a zoo, or an entire city. While this is sort of true for Reactor, this particular title takes that style of gameplay and combines it with idle genre mechanics.
If you’ve been around for the golden era of console and PC gaming, back when arcades were big and popular, arcade shooters were some of the more popular games to play. There were games like Contra, Metal Slug, and so on which you could literally waste hours playing, and many people including myself did do that. Huntdown is an upcoming arcade shooter for Android that features the same sort of style the old school titles had.
The successfully funded (Kickstarter) indie adventure game Thimbleweed Park has received a new trailer for gamers who are interested in this title to check out. The story is being developed by Ron Gilbert and Gary Winnick, and features a retro look to it which is similar to adventure games from back in the day when PC titles like this were quite popular.
Dark Souls III is slated for release onto PC and console this month and fans of the franchise are chomping at the bit for it to arrive. I should know because I am one of them. However, Bandai Namco and GameStop have teamed up together to release a little Dark Souls III inspired promotional mobile game called Slashy Souls.
Released by Totebo Ltd, Miner Z is a new, casual endless game. In Miner Z, players assume the role of the eponymous ‘Miner’, who is one of the last survivors of the zombie apocalypse that has happened. In order to escape being consumed by the horde, players will use the miner’s propensity to dig in order to prolong the character’s existence.
tinyBuild’s rather popular game Punch Club only recently made it onto mobile devices, while PC gamers have had the pleasure of playing this game for a little bit longer, but not by much. Well apparently this game has done rather good for itself since its release, breaking the $2 million in total sale mark with sales across all platforms.
NHN Entertainment has pushed out an update that is the start of a new crossover event with the Guilty Gear franchise. The actual game that is part of the crossover with Crusaders Quest is Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator, where seven characters are being brought over to Crusaders Quest for players to eventually snap up for themselves.
