The rather cool and popular RPG called Knights of Pen and Paper from Paradox Interactive and Behold Studios has received an update, making it officially now known as the Knights of Pen & Paper +1 Edition. Aside from the fancy +1 added to the game’s name, the update actually brings a whole lot of additional content to the game.

NimbleBit’s Pocket Planes game that was released onto DeNA’s Mobage platform was apparently at one point going to be a game about trains called Pocket Trains. Somehow, along the way, the trains grew some wings and the trains ended up becoming planes instead. Well it looks like those trains may be coming back and heading our way in the near future.
Another Ouya game has been confirmed as of today and that is Vlambeer’s Super Crate Box. Of course since this game is on just about every platform known to mankind, an Ouya version is all too surprising but it is good to know that it is coming and will be shown off during E3 2013.
Final Fantasy fans have been waiting for awhile now for Square Enix to bring Final Fantasy IV to Android since it was announced as heading our way back in December 2012. iOS gamers got the game first and fairly quickly too, leaving Android gamers waiting for a few months longer for whatever particular reason. Well the wait is finally over and Android gamers who have waited patiently for this day to arrive can now download the next installment into the Final Fantasy series on Android.
This is probably a first to happen in mobile gaming, or at least close to it. DeNA has launched a cross-game event between two of their titles on Google Play. Blood Brothers will be invading D.O.T. Defenders of Texel with a special collaboration event called “A Rush of Blood”. So how exactly is this going to work out?
The rather popular side-scrolling sandbox game Terraria has been officially announced as coming to mobile platforms this Summer. The game looks to be published onto Android and iOS by 505 Games and while there was no specific platforms mentioned in the announcement, so hopefully it means both Android and iOS will be getting Terraria when it is released.
A small indie studio out of Sweden called Glowingpine Studios is gearing up to release a neat little retro style physics-based puzzle game called Little Luca onto Android soon. In order to get the word out about their upcoming game ahead of time, the developers have released a trailer for Little Luca featuring some of the 8-bit inspired music that will be coming with the game.
Super Ping-Pong by Urara Works is one of those games that ends up flying under everyone’s radar until someone comes up to you and tells you to check out this cool little game. Well that is basically what has happened here, where Super Ping-Pong slipped by most people until someone posted about it on our forums and we checked it out.
Retro Dreamer already has a few games available on Android, most of which seem to be endless jumping games themed around a little Ice Cream character or one that is made out of crap… literally. Their newest game is Slambots and its quite the entertainment retro style game without all the crap.
Over the last few days I’ve been really busy. As soon as I thought I was going to get some time to enjoy a game, what ended up happening is something else turned up that required my attention. There was just no way for me to actually take a decent amount of time to play a game. And here is where Pixel Dungeon came to the rescue.
