Kairosoft has loaded up their weapons, stocked up their ships and has set sail onto the seven seas with a new pirate themed sim game which may or may not be in direct competition with Epic Devs’ upcoming title Epic Pirate Story. Since this new Kairosoft release, called Great Pirate Island Quest, is currently for Japanese residents right now, or will be shortly anyways, the description of the game is also in Japanese.
Well its been almost one year since the Epic Devs LLC. set out on their enduring journey to create a new Pixel Art adventure game called Epic Pirate Story. They had a grand vision for a game where you would play a pirate and take to the high seas seen in cute Pixel Art fashion and they knew the direction they wanted to take it. In the beginning the company started out with one coder and one pixel artist and started writing in Java while using the AndEngine to publish the game. After that they settled in to design and develop that vision.
The developers behind Super Meat Boy have announced their newest project which happen to be a mobile game going by the name of Mew-Genics. This particular game will features cats… lots and lots of cats in a game that hey are labeling as a ‘cat lady sim’ type of game. However, that is not why we are writing about The Sandbox today.
Back near the beginning of this month we talked about a game that would be heading our way at some point soon from Pixowl Inc called The Sandbox. Well for those of you who have been waiting patiently since then, your wait is now over and you can now start building pretty much whatever you want.
Luma Arcade and Kerosene Games have a total of three more games that are currently under development and slated for release onto Android when they are done. Racer looks to be a joint project between Luma Arcade and Kerosene Games while The Harvest and Core appear to be from Luma Arcade themselves.
The year 1997 has come back to like in the form of those digital pets from Japan called Tamagotchi that a lot of kids lost their minds over when they first came out. Now those children are adults and Tamagotchi has come back to life but on Google Play this time. So all of those children who loved these digital pets back then, who happen to be adults now, can lose their minds all over again.
