A couple of weeks ago we talked about a new application coming from Sony which would be the official companion app for their next-gen console, the Playstation 4. This companion app features plenty of the standard social features along with being able to use the second-screen feature when it is available in a game.

The Ratchet & Clank franchise will be getting a new endless runner addition soon with a game called Ratchet & Clank: Before the Nexus and it looks pretty damn good. Even though we already have a ton of these types of games, most of them are pretty cookie cutter from each other. This particular one looks pretty different and the impressive looking visuals certainly help with that.
The official Playstation 4 companion app launching November 13th for North America, Nov. 22nd for Europe
When the Xbox One and the Playstation 4 were announced this year there was a heavy focus on second-screen experiences as well as social features that both consoles would be coming having integrated into them. The Playstation 4 seemed to have more of a foothold on the whole thing, pushing the second-screen experiences and social features a lot more during their presentation and upcoming games.
Sony is bringing some of the most recognizable characters from their games over to Android (and iOS) in a Playstation All-Stars game called officially called Playstation All-Stars Island. The game is currently available on Google Play but for whatever particular reason it is exclusive to Europe right now.
Square Enix has made one of their games on Android just a little bit more accessible as they have put Chaos Rings up on Sony’s Playstation Mobile store. This is the first Square Enix title to appear on the store and while most Android users shouldn’t have a problem grabbing their games off of Google Play, those of you who prefer Sony’s store can now grab a copy of Chaos Rings off of there.
Tokyo Jungle now available on Playstation Mobile. Time to channel your inner bad ass baby chicken
Almost a week ago we got confirmation that a version of Tokyo Jungle would be coming to Playstation Mobile in the very near future. Well that future has become the present and Tokyo Jungle is now available for Playstation Certified devices through the Playstation Mobile store. While this is a Tokyo Jungle game, it isn’t a direct port of the actual game for Playstation 3.
The rather strange concept of what would happen if a city, say Tokyo, happen to suddenly be overrun with a jungle and the animals took the city back over landed on Playstation 3 not too long ago. It’s a game you’ll either love or absolutely hate, there really isn’t much of an in-between with this title. However, it’s popular enough that a mobile version is heading to Playstation Mobile in the very near future.
Unity publishes their first game under their new brand – Gears by Crescent Moon Games. Sony devices only for now.
Some pretty big news today as Unity, the company behind the Unity3D game engine which is extremely popular to use because of its cross-platform capabilities, has released their first game under their new publishing brand called Unity Games. This will be the label that Unity will be using to publishing games onto Google Play and their first release happens to be a game called Gears which was made by Crescent Moon Games.
Chillingo are looking to expand their reach when it comes to Android gamers and have announced that, starting today, the company will begin releasing their games onto Playstation Mobile for those of you who own Playstation Certified devices and for those of you who happen to own a PS Vita. The first game which launches today is Feed Me Oil.
While a few major gaming sites have their own live streams set up for the upcoming E3 2013 press conferences, TwitchTV also have their own official live stream of the press conferences coming up. Not only that, the company will also be covering booths and other aspects of E3 2013 live as well. The first press event is that of Microsoft’s Xbox event but there are a total of four major press events today.
