The Great Big War Game Review: Cute and Deadly

Great Big War Game by Rubicon Development is another title in a line of charming turn-based strategy games that is simple to learn but packs many hours of entertainment. Sure, these tiny little soldiers are adorable to look at but killing is their business and business is often pretty darn good. You start out by passing through a series of basic tutorials but soon enough find yourself within the thick of it for real. The enemy can be hidden by a fog of war but, if you’re like me and prefer to have it terribly easy at first, there is an optional toggle that lights up the entire battlefield. After I got used to the game I meant to turn it back on, I really did, but I was having too much fun to notice. I’m not much of a warrior, obviously.

Well it seems as though Gameloft is having a hard time keeping the lid on this game as a new trailer and images have leaked out about the next Modern Combat game.

The same cannot be said of iOS and Windows Phone devices, which are ‘closed’ for the most part, and therefore the user’s ability to customize and what-not is severely limited.

Fort Courage for Tegra devices bring humorous tower defense to Android

Another Tegra-based game has arrived today from Human Head Games called Fort Courage. Aside from the rather humorous name the development studio uses, Fort Courage is also full of humor, goofiness and straight up fun. This particular game is a Tower Defense style title that is quite enjoyable both with the eye candy it comes with and the overall gameplay. This was a sneaky title too, having no preview at all available on Tegra Zone ahead of its launch.
