The Trese Brothers are rather well known indie developers who make RPG titles for Android. The two man company has finished their newest game called Heroes of Steel and have released it onto Google Play for everyone to enjoy. According to the developers, this is the biggest project they have taken so far when it comes to their games so we can expect all the bells and whistles arriving in this game.

It appears that Square Enix is looking to possibly capitalize on the holiday season and the popularity of their recently announced second franchise that will be coming to mobile called Dragon Quest. If you missed out on our previous posts, basically Square Enix has said that the Final Fantasy franchise won’t be continuing after the release of Final Fantasy VII for mobile devices in the immediate future.
Square Enix has decided to tease the mobile gaming world with a screenshot of their upcoming addition to the Final Fantasy franchise which is Final Fantasy VI. While there isn’t a whole lot of details regarding this next installment into the popular RPG franchise, we do get to see a little of the game in these new screenshots.
Shadowrun Returns hasn’t been out all that long and already the first expansion for the game has been announced. This expansion will be called Dragonfall and Harebrained Schemes is already hard at work developing it for a 2014 release time frame. This won’t be a small expansion with a little bit of extra content either. Instead it will be a full-length one with a whole new campaign set in the Free City of Berlin.
Back in August of this year we talked about a rather cool looking game called Joe Dever’s Lone Wolf – Blood on the Snow which would be heading to Android this month, well at least the first chapter of it anyways. Now we have an official release date for this game which is November 14th, 2013.
One company that specializes in bringing retro style RPGs to Android is Kemco and late yesterday evening saw the addition of a new title to their current catalog of games called Fortuna Magus. Unlike most RPGs of this nature, in this one you aren’t actually out to save the world. Instead you are looking to find and save the main character’s missing father.
Back in July of this year we reported on HyperDevBox announcing their next game which is called Record of Agarest War. Since then the company has been hard at work developing the game for its debut on Android and it seems that it is almost done as the company has announced today that Record of Agarest War will be arriving onto Google Play in the next few weeks.

Last week we talked about a rather cool looking turn-based combat game called Aerena – Clash of Champions by Cliffhanger Productions. This is one of those games we’ve been talking about lately that will be arriving with cross-platform support between mobile and PC gamers, being available through Steam for PC, Mac and Linux users while also being launched on iOS and Android for the mobile gamer to enjoy.
Tactical turn-based combat game on Steam called Aerena – Clash of Champions coming to Android in the future
Another game on Steam has announced some additional platforms that it will be available on in the future after its release on Steam. Developed by Cliffhanger Productions, Aerena – Clash of Champions and is a tactical turn-based combat strategy game which will feature cross-platform multiplayer. This is the second game this week that we have reported on that will feature this kind of cross-platform support.
Lords of Discord – Herocraft’s upcoming cross-platform tactics style strategy game coming in 2014
Herocraft has made a lot of games for mobile as well as publishing games by other developers as well. However the company is looking to expand their reach and in doing so they are breaking into an area where a lot of games don’t reach into. This area is the cross-platform gaming experience and while there’s a lot of games that are cross-platform between iOS and Android, there isn’t a whole lot that move past that into the realm of PC/Mac/Linux gaming.
