The Trese Brothers have been around for quite some time on Android with a few rather successful RPG titles like Star Traders and Templar Assault under their belts. Their next undertaking is called Heroes of Steel and is currently up on Kickstarter for funding which it has been fully funded with 12 days to go.

The deck building RPG strategy game Ascension and Ascension Online could be heading to Android around the end of this year. Currently available as both a tabletop and iOS game, the developers are planning to start up a Kickstarter campaign with the goal being to bring both games to Android and Steam, with a release time of round the end of 2013.
With the upcoming (eventual) release of Final Fantasy IV for Android, I decided it’d be a good time to write up a review for Final Fantasy III. Final Fantasy III has been one of my all-time favorites in the series since the original NES release was translated in the emulation community. It set the ground for the class change system from Final Fantasy V, Final Fantasy Tactics, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, and every other game in the series since that gave you the ability to change your character’s class.
It seems like OUYA news always comes in clumps lately and today is no different as we have a few bits of information regarding the Android powered console to go over. First, for those of you who haven’t pre-ordered a unit yet, you can now do so off of Amazon.com and GameStop.com instead of just through the OUYA website.
Kemco’s recent sale may be over but the company has more titles on the way for your to drop your money on and their newest offering is a retro-style RPG called Covenant of Solitude. This particular title though features some new mechanics not seen before in any of their previous titles.
For those of you who enjoy warfare on the high seas there is a new game heading our way called Leviathan: Warships. A joint project between Paradox Interactive and Pieces Interactive, Leviathan: Warships will give you all the aquatic warfare you can handle with all the weapons you could want including fun things like lasers.
About a week ago we talked about a Tekken game that would be heading our way soon from Namco Bandai. While it is unfortunately not a head-to-head combat game in the series’ traditional sense, it is still a combat game nonetheless. For those of you who are waiting for the game to arrive, Tekken Card Tournament is now available in open beta.
During CES 2013 nVidia’s revealed their Project Shield handheld gaming console that is running Android. Also during CES 2013 nVidia’s next chipset called Tegra 4 was also announced along with a quick glimpse at a selection of games that would be arriving for Tegra 4 devices. One such title in that list was Bohemia Interactive’s Arma Tactics game.

Are you a fan of the old Kings Bounty series or maybe the Heroes of Might and Magic style games? King’s Bounty: Legions could be just up your alley then. King’s Bounty games have been around for more then 20 years and I still remember playing it on my old Commodore 64. For those of you not familiar with the series, King’s Bounty is a 3D turn-based strategy game where you get to hire and upgrade armies of different creatures, explore the land searching for treasures and grow your character.
