We’ve talked about Bladeslinger on and off for over a year at least, getting our first glimpse of it back in 2011 and subsequent hands-on shortly thereafter. Since it’s initial announcement that this game would be coming to Android, it has been delayed a few times for a variety to reasons. It finally got released onto iOS early this year and now Android has finally gotten Bladeslinger as well.

Hothead Games has just pushed the first major update to their multiplayer combat game called Rivals at War. While this is the first major update for the game, all it brings is a good selection of translated languages to Rivals at War, we really are not focusing on that. In fact we aren’t going to focus on the update at all.
If you’ve been following us for awhile now then you have probably seen us report on games being made by a company called Asobimo. One game we are currently waiting on for an English release, which should be coming soon actually, is Avabel Online. However, another game they have which just entered a new round of beta testing in Japan is Frontier Gunner.
Glu Mobile has brought a second game to Google Play today and this time it is the Samurai vs Zombies Defense 2 game we talked about yesterday afternoon. For those that missed yesterday’s article, this is the sequel to the original game which is also available on Google Play. While keeping to the core mechanics of the original, this sequel brings with it two additional warriors: the Kunoichi Assassin and Armored Ronin.
Gamelion has been working on a few games as of late and one of those games happens to be Rage of the Gladiator. Originally released onto the Nintendo Wii, we actually talked about Rage of the Gladiator heading our way back in October of last year and now we finally get to dive into the brutal world of gladiators beating the crap out of each other.
So everyone is waiting patiently for the upcoming 0.7.0 update for Minecraft: Pocket Edition to arrive because of one main feature that will come with this update: true multiplayer. This feature has been requested numerous time by almost everyone who plays this game and now we are finally going to be getting it. Of course if you missed our last article about the 0.7.0 update then you missed some important information regarding the upcoming multiplayer features.

The newest Humble Bundle for Android has arrived featuring six pretty awesome games in one package including bringing Dungeon Defenders (and all the DLC it comes with) out of retirement for the duration of the Humble Bundle. A little known fact about DroidGamers is that our 3rd birthday is also this month (next week to be exact). Two games we have previously reported on that had gone to Kickstarter have successfully been funded. Heroes of Steel RPG by the Trese Brothers and Delver’s Drop by Pixelscopic have both reached their funding goals and both games will be developed and arrive on Android when they are done. Delver’s Drop will also be heading to the Android-powered console OUYA as well when it is released.
Back in December of last year Crescent Moon Games released their newest full-sized 3D RPG onto iOS called Ravensword: Shadowlands. Back then we reported about this game’s launch because it was also almost immediately confirmed that Ravensword: Shadowlands would also be arriving onto Android devices in the near future.
