Game of Thrones Ascent is a free-to-play Strategy-RPG title published by Kongregate on Google Play originally. That was back during the Summer of 2014 and now it has finally arrived onto Amazon’s Appstore for Kindle devices. This version does include the newly started Season 5 as well, so it is caught up to the Google Play version.

Released by Dreamkind, Rewind: One Last Chance is a game where, to quote the Dev, “truth is on trial”. Players assume the role of Commander Kole Zamon, a commander who’s been captured by the people that he’s terrorized, and is now being tried for crimes against humanity. Unfortunately for Zamon, the scope of the trial extends beyond his actions, and will impact other areas of his life, such as family, loyalty, and his beliefs.
Cherrypick has released a successor to their popular game called Touchdown Hero today. This new game is called Must Deliver and it is all about curing the zombie apocalypse. While other games have people surviving as long as they can until a cure is found, this game has the cure already made, it just needs to actually get delivered safely to as many survivors as possible.
Amazon has put together another one of their free bundles and this time, if you download everything, you would essentially be getting $105 worth of apps and games for free. Usually the selection of apps and games is pretty decent with these bundles. This new bundle has a few decent games in it.
Hearthstone is a digital CCG from Blizzard, set within the World of Warcraft universe. Amazon has just announced a few things regarding this game. First, it’s now available in the Amazon Appstore. Second, in celebration of this, they’re offering some discounts relating to Hearthstone. First, Amazon coins can now be used for in app purchases, like booster packs for Hearthstone.
Telltale Games’ rather popular series Game of Thrones has the first episode free today on Amazon’s Appstore. Interestingly enough, it isn’t the Free App of the Day. Instead it just happens that Telltale Games or Amazon decided to make it free on there.
[Updated] Postal has apparently been denied from Google Play due to ‘gratuitous violence’. Amazon eventually allows Postal’s release.
Google Play has many different nicknames for it, with one of the more popular ones being that it is the ‘Wild West’ of games and applications. This is mainly due to Google’s easy access for publishers who want to upload their games and apps onto Google Play. As long as you follow the TOS )Terms of Service), don’t break anything related to copyrights, and pay your one-time developer fee to open you account, you can pretty much publish whatever you want. Games that get denied by Apple usually make an appearance on Google Play.
Back during CES 2015 we got to check our Razer’s upcoming set top box called ForgeTV as well as the peripherals that it will be supporting. Since then Razer has been working to get this new set top box into consumer’s hands as soon as possible and it looks like that will be happening soon as pre-orders have appeared on Amazon for a Razer ForgeTV bundle.
Easter weekend is here and a lot of people have today off. This also means one thing… Android games going on sale! So as you can imagine, there are plenty of Android games on sale right now and a lot of them are really good. Handy Games is still going strong with their $0.15 sale, Square Enix has jumped into things by discounting a few Dragons Quest titles, and Disney is celebrating Easter with a bunch of games going on sale as well. That’s not mentioning all the other developers out there discounting their games for this holiday weekend.
G5 Entertainment has released over 100 games on to Google Play and Amazon’s Appstore, most of which are free with IAPs. However, they also have a pretty decent sized list of games available at a premium price (but still include optional IAPs) and these particular games have had their prices reduced down to a buck.
