We don’t get to talk about new game development engines very often which is mostly due to the fact that there isn’t really a whole lot of new game engines coming out on any sort of consistent basis. However today marks an exception to that fact as we get to talk about a new cross-platform game engine called BatteryTech from the fine folks over at Battery Powered Games.

Our friends over at Battery Powered Games have been hard at work with a new project we thought would end up being another game. However, as it turns out, it isn’t a game at all but an entire development framework for cross-platform game development. Called BatteryTech, it is available for indies developers and bigger studios as well.
It has been a very long journey for these remaining six competitors which has finally come to an end as this Finals round is now over. Everyone fought to the bitter end not only in this game but all of the games since Day 1. Now it is time to announce who won and is crowned Champion and the runner-ups! The semi-final round for the first Android Gaming Challenge has just ended and it certainly wasn’t an easy game to play. A special golf course was designed for tournament players in the Mini Golf’oid game and the scores were as impressive as ever. However the ladder is not complete as there will be yet another sudden death tie-breaker between two players.
The first ever Android Gaming Challenge is nearing it’s end. Today marks the beginning of the semi-finals and after that the finals where 1 person will be named Champion. Six players have managed to beat out the original 400+ entries into the tournament playing various games testing different aspects of gaming such as reflexes, endurance and strategy!
As you may or may not have know we needed to have a sudden death round between two players for the last spot in the semi-finals for the Android Gaming Challenge. It was a very close battle with neither player giving up at any point. In fact it was so close that the only difference in points is just under 700 and it was like that the entire round.
As each round end the competition gets tougher and much more fierce. This round was no exception to that rule as Round 3 has some very close scores from everyone. For this round Farm Frenzy AGC Edition was played and this one required time, strategy and patience along with quick fingers. The results are in and it seems we will be having a sudden death round for 2 players!
For round 2 of the Android Gaming Challenge the game used was Prism3D AGC Edition which was a modified version of the game. In this version the level was endless and dynamically generated presenting both skill challenge as well as endurance challenge. With the end of the round now, the scores have been amazing with one person breaking 1 million points!

There were some really close matches, some within only a few hundred points which is not a whole lot especially with the caliber of gamers in this ladder.
