Minecraft: Pocket Edition players know that Mojang is working on true online multiplayer that could arrive as soon as the 0.6.0 update if all goes well. However, up until now, and until that update comes out, we’ve been trying various ways to create a true Minecraft: Pocket Edition server whether it be hosted off your device or on a PC. We’ve seen a few projects aiming towards this goal but now it seems one has actually accomplished this and it’s called PocketMine-MP.
Yesterday we talked about Imangi Studios’ new game which happens to be a sequel to their rather popular continuous running game Temple Run. Aside from all the details about the game we talked about, word on the street was that Temple Run 2 would be hitting the Google Play store sometime next week.

Disney just finished holding their press event this afternoon where they have officially announced something they have been hinting at for the past few month: Disney Infinity. This is a rather huge project from Disney that is going to be a massive cross-platform sandbox gaming platform that breaks past the barriers of digital platforms and invades toys as well. Think Skylanders but on a much more massive and interactive, ever expanding scale.

Just as we posted yesterday about what we know is confirmed for the next 0.5.1 update, more details came to light right after that. So Google has made a list of the top 12 games that were released onto Google Play over the past year and there are some interesting titles they have picked. The games selected stretch across most genres and while some of their picks seem spot on, others are a bit of a surprised which leads us to ask the question as to whether or not you agree with their picks or if not then what ones would you switch out and with what game.
Back in November of this year we mentioned that GREE was partnering up with various companies to bring a rather interesting selection of titles to Android. While these releases would be Japan-only at first, chances are they will be coming to the rest of the world soon as seen with previous games released onto Android. One of these titles is now here, or in Japan rather, and it is Metal Gear Solid: Social Ops.
