It’s official apparently, Razer now owns the Android console maker Ouya

Well E3 2015 has barely started and already there have been some very good announcements for mobile gamers already, with Torchlight Mobile being announced last week still being one of the top 3 game announcements for mobile, and the week is barely underway! So everything is looking very promising for us mobile gamers. However, there have been some surprising announcements already as well, and one of those is that it appears that Razer has officially purchased Ouya.

Oculus Rift release date, specs, and pre-E3 press event round-up

Oculus Rift held their Pre-E3 press event moments ago, officially announcing the Oculus Rift as an official commercial product. Along with this announcement were some other surprising announcements made on stage, including the fact that the Oculus Rift headset will come bundled with an Xbox One controller and adapter, as well as working natively with Windows 10 and allowing for Xbox One game streaming to the headset.

GameFly’s streaming service comes to Amazon’s Fire TV set-top box

Amazon has made a move to bring a bit more gaming power to their Amazon Fire TV set-top box. In an announcement today, Amazon has brought GameFly’s streaming service to their set-top box in an attempt to offer owners, and future owners, more gaming possibilities with Amazon Fire TV. The service itself hasn’t fully launched onto all platforms and all regions yet, which is interesting since it is now available for Amazon’s Fire TV.

[Update: Rumor Denied] Nintendo’s NX console rumored to be building its OS around Android

A new rumor is floating around the internet in which Nintendo will be using Android as the OS of choice for its next console, currently codenamed NX. This new console was recently announced around the same time that Nintendo finally decided to jump into the mobile gaming scene, securing a deal with DeNA to publish Nintendo franchises and new IPs. At that time though, details regarding the briefly mentioned Nintendo NX were scarce.
